Sound Off: Your comments 5/17/10

Editor's Note: You had mixed opinions of the Friday show format. Some of you enjoyed the live audience show, while others felt the format was more like an entertainment show and not a “real news” show. Many comments were also submitted about the “Black and White Study.” While most had their own theories about the study results, the majority agreed that it was an interesting topic and a “wonderful presentation.”

I like the new Friday format with the live show. However, where is the live blog? I will really miss posting with the regulars on the AC360 live blog. Are you going to include it? Please?

Tuned in to see the Anderson Cooper I like and respect. This FRIDAY format is not good. I was disappointed that we did not get the "real news" that I count on from AC360°.

Perhaps (regarding the child study), the study should expand to include gender analysis, to see if there is a similar result, boys positive attributes about boys and negative about girls. It's been proven that humans are extremely visual oriented. Therefore I don't agree this study really proves anything more than what we already know.

I would like to thank you for your wonderful presentation on racial bias last Friday. It is so helpful to be reminded how the balanced education of children is important in overcoming racial biases. Everything starts with education.

I loved the talk show format of the AC360 program on Friday. Having the formal delivery of the news during the week and a more informal delivery of the news on Friday is a nice way to start the weekend.

I missed the "real" news too. I did enjoy the Friday format as a change of pace but hate to see Anderson (and the rest of the AC360 crew) sell out for ratings. This is the only news that I watch every day – great reporting, honesty, integrity, and reporting on both sides of the issues. Maybe 360 Friday could appear once a month.
