Tonight we have a report on the situation on the ground in Haiti. Sean Penn will talk to Anderson about how relief is reaching Haitians and whether or not the situation has improved. Penn has been working in Haiti since the earthquake with his organization, the J/P Haitian Relief Organization.

The mission of J/P HRO is to “save lives and bring relief to the Haitian people quickly and effectively.”

    i don't have a cell phone so i can't text my question.

    Please Anderson,
Can you ask what his organization is doing with the relocation of the Haitian people and if they are establishing permanent shelters for them?

Tents will not work, I have heard of organizations turning the shipping containers into shelters.

    thank you

Everything that wasn't being done for Haiti before the earthquake is being done now plus so much more. The long haul is what all of the focus should remain on. Education, secure housing, a more solid government, continued flow of finances, medical assistance, clothing, sanitation, the cleaning up process, as a whole, construction, and the continued stablization of the country.
