House lawmakers call for National Guard at border

A largely Republican group of House lawmakers said Wednesday they have sent a letter to President Obama asking for the National Guard to be deployed along the border between the United States and Mexico.

The request comes amid a heated debate on Capitol Hill over a comprehensive immigration reform bill - one of the president's top domestic priorities.

    My question is: When are these people going to sit down and take a serious look at the immigration problem that we are facing as a whole, not only targetting the Mexican border and the latino or hispanics groups.
    Time its overdue for a real and serious reform and not a temporary "let me get you to vote for me kind of fix."
