Editor's Note: After last night's AC360°, we heard from many of you about the debate surrounding the Arizona immigration bill. We also heard from you about the “Planet in Peril” special. Some of you were curious about the diseases that Anderson and Dr. Gupta saw in Africa. They wonder what the chances are of them contracting them.
The Arizona bill is so anti Hispanic and so anti immigrants. When I was in Kenya, the police would single out Somalis and take them to Jail for being refugee in their country. We had to bribe them not to take us to jail that we would run out of money many times. I think the next thing Arizona is going to do is let their police authority accept bribery for God's sake. This bill just does not make any Sense. If they want to stop immigration why don't they pass laws that punish firms that hire illegal immigrants? I think what this is just the fact that desperate times call for racist measures.
I want to know what the difference is, from the federal gov. profiling Middle Eastern persons coming from Pakistan to this country, than from the police in Arizona asking for proof that someone is here illegally. I don't get it !!!
If these guests don't want people stopped for this – tell them to tell all the illegals to go home and come legally like I did.
Watching Planet in Peril now. Do you fear ever contacting any of the diseases you report on in Africa? What are the chances of you, Dr. Gupta or any of you crew contracting and carrying these viruses back to the States without knowing it?
