Sound Off: Your comments 4/14/10

Editor's Note: After last night's AC360°, we heard from many of you about Sarah Palin, the recent earthquakes and elections in Sudan. What do you have to say? We want to hear from you too.

I love and respect Anderson Cooper and the show. You are giving Sarah Palin too much air time. It is unfair considering the myriad other more important news events.

Mr. Cooper, are all of these recent earthquakes related? I haven't heard any experts comment on this subject. Thank you for your consistent excellence in reporting. You are one of the trusted few.

Anderson, your sincerity reaches out of our TV into our living room. Thank you for all your fine stories. But can my wife and I add one thing? It's this:....Palin lost the election. Why must we keep talking about her (as though she actually won)? Can we not "enjoy" the current presidency for a little while before being hit with all the talk about possible candidates for the NEXT election? With all the Palin nonsense, it seems like Obama has been treated like a lame duck from the moment he took office.

Please provide more coverage for the elections in Sudan. There are many story lines you can follow. For example: how President Bashir methodically changed the voting rules over time to basically "fix" the election in his favor.

Sarah Palin again? Has she said anything new? Why then? Is there no other important news stories? Tired.

As we know children are very unique and that can be either an enjoyable moment or unpleasant. So if we pay attention to our kids especially when they are between seven and teenage the result is tremendous. Because they know that they are part of our lives no matter how busy we are. As result they became very happy and they want to be around their parents because they feel that they are the closest people to them. In addition, they will enjoy the opportunity to share their happiness with the closet people to them which are the parents. Adopted children need a lot of attention that makes them feel save and comfortable especially children who get adopted at the age when they understand everything. Think about loosing something that your attached to and we are talking here about objects not people. You get very mad and you want to get another one similar to that one in order to replace the emptiness of the lost one. The question is how do we feel when we loose someone because of something that we know is going to happen to us one day as we start to know the reality of life which death that nobody can run away from. The difference between being adopted and death is that being adopted is going somewhere where either is going to be happy or unhappy but passing away is going to be happy based on the person he/she used to be is basically being judged.

I am a bit confused about the boy who was sent back to Russia by himself. Usually the airline company asks for an address and phone number for the person who is going to pick up the under age person and collect an extra fee from the sender in order to take care of him or her.
Mr. Cooper you missed in this story to cover the air line part. I am wandering how did seven years old take the flight unaccompanied?
