Adopted and Rejected, Were Laws Broken?: Join the Live Chat

Tonight on 360°, a Tennessee sheriff speaks out about the Russia adoption controversy. Were laws broken with a family in Bedford County adopted 7-year-old Justin and then sent him back to Moscow alone with a note for authorities? Plus, Pres. Obama opens a summit on nuclear security at the White House. Several republicans, including Sarah Palin, speak out against his efforts - which remind many of Ronald Reagan. We're keeping them honest.

Scroll down to join the live chat during the program. It's your chance to share your thoughts on tonight's headlines. Keep in mind, you have a better chance of having your comment get past our moderators if you follow our rules.

Here are some of them:

1) Keep it short (we don't have time to read a "book")
2) Don't write in ALL CAPS (there's no need to yell)
3) Use your real name (first name only is fine)
4) No links
5) Watch your language (keep it G-rated; PG at worst - and that includes $#&*)

I think John McCain is compromising himself with that ad. It is funny, but a political candidate is supposed to be serious.

Glad to see the look and the background of arms negotiations with Russia.

    Great show and blog tonight.

Good night Isabel, Emily, Starr. Megan, everyone.

I think it was wrong for the Virginia governor or any governor to put out a proclamation declaring April Confederate History Month. That he added a clause mentioning slavery doesn't appease me one bit. It's an outrage.

If Conan will be working on TBS can frequent spots on AC360 be far behind? 😉

I loved the Palin Network skit on SNL.

I agree that the Confederate flag symbolizes hate. Living in the west, we don't see it much and don't think much of those who do display it.

I agree with the historian who said that the current anti-federal government sentiment is stirring these groups up. Good insight.

No sending the boy back is not the right thing to do you could have at least set him up for adoption

Best of luck to Conan. I never really watched his show before, but I think I will watch a few episodes in November. The entire fiasco worked to his financial advantage. $40 million from NBC and $10 million from TBS... not too shabby.

I think this is slurring the name of the producer when there isn;t any proof he was involved.

I believe both the agency and the mother is at fault. the agency probably knew that that child had a disability and didn't tell the parents and the way the parent handle the whole situation was wrong. there are other alternative ways beside sending that poor child back. it was careless and selfish of the family!!

I love Conan...I don't watch much late night talk shows anymore after his departure, just the highlights from Cambell Brown's "Mash-up" segment. Conan's back, so Thank you!

Kate – I wasn't under the impression that people living in the south – average people had a choice about whether or not to fight for the south. They were conscripted. Or shot if they weren;t willing to serve. No choice – therefore they fought for their fellow soldiers and fought heroically.
