the tsa got to get better, im getting ready to fly to the middle east hope tsa do their job im already scared of the 16 hr flight.

Smoking on the plane is a FEDERAL offense!

Why should diplomats have "immunity" on such activities? They should not. Anything remotely terrorist or criminal – they should be held accountable. Otherwise, fly your own aircraft man!! I think the society is owed some assurance of safety from 'diplomat' MORONs!!!

how did he fet the lighter on the flight? or matches? because i smoke they all way's take my my lighters and matches... see i would rather them strp people naked if need be, i fly alot when they detain me i don't get angrt because i understand safety.american workers are to easy at tsa.

I guess they're not doing a good enough job...i travelled over Easter and got on a total of 5 different flights... i had a lighter on me and all flights did not even confiscate it from me. This disturbed me! Really! I could've done all sorts of things with that lighter on those flights...
At least there were air marshalls on board to protect the plane. It is a relief it was not a terrorist attempt. No security is fool proof.
not only would it be stupid to make a joke like that at an airport, but trying to sneak a smoke on the plane wasn't too brilliant either
People who would joke about something like this are dangerous.
So glad it's not a bomb. The guy is an idiot if he made a joke about it. In fact, I think its a federal charge.
