Hello, I give my prayers out to the families affected by bullying. Our 14 year old son went through bullying at school a few years ago. He was beat with padlocks in the locker room and the school wouldn't do anything to help. Their policy is if they don't see it there is nothing they can do. They even have a no bullying policy. Our son ended up spiraling mentally and physically out of control. He went into a deep depression. The school still wouldn't help so we had to take action. We put him into counseling and it helped at times but when the kids were still bullying him at school it eventually wasn't enough. He became aggressive and his depression became unbearable. We had to admit him to the hospital and he underwent 10 days of therapy and then was released. However, he was put back into the same environment at school and things became bad again. We made a drastic decision to look into other schooling. We didn't want to move because I help my grandmother so that wasn't an option. So we pulled him from school and began homeschooling. We have been homeschooling now for a year and he has begun to come out of his shell. He is off all medication for depression. He is doing so well. I know that homeschooling isn't the right option for everyone but it was for us. We have our son back! It has been a long journey and we have learned so much!

I'm just sick about this beautiful, young girl taking her life. I was bullied in high school for no reason (but later found out that most of the boys had a crush on me). At the time I honestly felt it would never end and that this would be my miserable life forever. I'm in my 40's and happily married with a wonderful family. I cannot convey enough that your school years are just a blink in what will be a wonderful life!!!!!!!! I told my guidence councelors and my family but it didn't stop for almost a year. I chose to skip school 3 to 4 days a week which of course hurt my studies but it was the only option I felt I had. Please parents listen to your children and do whatever it takes to keep them safe. Anderson I hope you dedicate more of your show to this topic.
