Good night everyone
Knowing first hand how crucial it is for the kids in Hollenbeck to get an education would only help at the teachers at that Charter school that Oscar De La Hoya founded.
The pt he made about aspirations and choices is the heart of the matter.
Very sorry to hear about Corey Haim.
That was an incredibly brave young man. It's great that his parents practiced calling 911 with him, but he kept himself together in a situation that's rough for grown ups.
Nice shot from Regis and Kelly

Why must we waste our law enforcement resources on pursuing marijuana growers and distributors? Just legalize it and TAX it!
am happy to hear sean penn speaking about things in haiti – glad to hear he's going back.
interesting to hear what oscar had to say about signs of respect in the hollenbeck segment.

Good point for parents taught children how to call 911 very important to do, if there is emergency.
Good night Anderson and Everyone! Sweet dreams and see you tomorrow!
Good night all! Here's wishing you a happy spring and lots of beautiful surprises! Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ
@JoAnn......"gang" behavior is typical in human nature. Being in a group enables a superior posturing in people.
@Casey Jones – I second that
Good note to end on, too...Carlos and the Dispatch gal!
@ Emily, thankyou! The "do not snitch" thing is very hard to understand, i agree! but I don't have to live there... and have my family there. I don't defend but I can't imagine what it is like
Wow, what a big hero that little boy is. –hearing him scream was terrifing to listen too when he got grabbed.
would like to help in haiti , what is the best organization to approach, it is almost as confusing as the haitian goverment
I am happy that everything when well for the family and a wonderful little boy, Carlos.
Thank God for smart parents that prepare their kids for everything!
When I heard that call I had that lump in my stomach and then hearing that scream I held my breath and all I could think was that something happened to that little boy. That call was so chilling! I am so proud of that little boy, he is a true hero!
Devin, so glad to hear it! Thank heavens you are doing well!
What a heart-warming story! 😛
Yay, Carlos, a CNN Hero!!!
& The 911 Operator too...
Anderson, you should have kids. It's very clear you love kids. It comes through every time there's children involved in a story.
This 911 story is terrific! What a wonderful little boy!
I love that he asked for soldiers too.
God bless the 911 operator, but especially Caros and his family. I am so relieved to know they are safe!
Hope they find the guys who did this to this family.
What a brave little boy! I'm so glad his family is okay. and the 911 operator lady rocks!
Oh sweet baby! Listening to the tape gives me goosebumps. It's unfortunate he had to witness something like that but again thank God he was there to prevent what could have caused him his mom and dad...
Happy ending! Smart boy you are a hero Carlos!
