Tonight on 360°, what led Erica Massa to step down from Congress? There's talk of cancer, ticklefights and even a shower visit from White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emmanuel. We've got the raw politics. Plus, a baby rescued from the rubble in Haiti thought to be an orphan, but now a couple says this child belongs to them.

Here are some of them:
1) Keep it short (we don't have time to read a "book")
2) Don't write in ALL CAPS (there's no need to yell)
3) Use your real name (first name only is fine)
4) No links
5) Watch your language (keep it G-rated; PG at worst - and that includes $#&*)
Anderson Cooper goes beyond the headlines to tell stories from many points of view, so you can make up your own mind about the news. Tune in weeknights at 8 and 10 ET on CNN.

Eric is my friend. The biggest reason I think his story seems to change is that he has been reacting to each new allegation. He did overreact on Sunday when he read an article that said he was the deciding vote on health care and an AP article where Steny Hoyer was misquoted as saying he had personally spoken to Eric about the allegations. He thought it was a setup based on those two things.
I can't imagine how painful it is to bury a child. You can't move on from that...at least not completely, ever.
@Starr, oh, I didn't see the his intvw w Glen Beck
Maybe it is a kind of happy ending as much of a happy ending as there can be in extortion. He owned up to what he did. That does take guts.
Lindsay might have a case.
@Heather –
"I would've had a heart attack!"
I'm SO glad that it was not me driving that car! It might have happened to me too!
Narcissism at it's finest as far as Lindsay goes...now the commercial will be funnier than it already is!!!
The story of these two brothers is so sad.
@Anderson, can you contrast in numbers when you say the killings are down?
That made my day, winning Beat 360! Thanks AC360 TEAM!
btw, Can Anderson sign my shirt?
Cessy, I think the killing came afterward....or am I wrong? Up till then he was just weird! Which is what TV shows like!
@A. Smith, Oregon March 9th, 2010 10:09 pm ET
"America must have and maintain high standards of ethical behavior in our lawmakers"
I think that more ethical & decent people have to be interested in Politics...and then get elected!
Hi Cessy!!!!
Nice see you again!! Yup! Jeff Toobin is best lawyer in the house! 🙂
@Caria,
Yes. I would say "silly" is more appropriate for the lawyer who did it. But then I'm sure it wasn't on contingency.
I can't imagine second-guessing the driver! I'd have been in a panic-who knows what I'd have done?! Anyone here been in that position?
The man profoundly appologized and showed remorse, that goes a long way.
It's good the extortion case was resolved quickly, though the sentence does seem light.
I didn't know a Prius could reach 90 MPH.
I have a question : did the lady pick the serial killer
for a date/ That is really scary.
Yikes! Serial killer? dont they screen/do background checks on these people?
@Emily, I would've had a heart attack!
"Wild!"
did lindsay actually pay alawyer to file that silly complaint?
@Jo Ann,
"Unfortunately, this is the type of story that causes a media frenzy."
Geez, I hope that story doesn't go on for a long time!
I love E-Trade; glad Lohan is giving them some PR.
Maybe at first blush it might seem odd that Mr. Sikes didn't just turn of the ignition, but he's right depending on what gear you're in the position of the ignition that can lock the steering wheel. He probably should've put it in neutral, but going down on a steep grade a twisting curving road is heartstopping at 90 plus mph, he had to keep both hands on the wheel. He did ok.
Hi Stephanie Elam!
Good Beat 360 caption!
@charlie, it's pretty simple; if Jihad Jane is a US citizen and acted in the US, it's a civil matter. If not, she's a foreign combatant and should be tried by the military as such.
'Defend his client' ?!!
@Nicole, Netherlands
"i heard he was scared the wheels or the stearing wheel would bloccade if he did that"
I'm surprised that the man didn't have a heart attack!
Thanks for the info.
Extortion is extortion...it is not to be swept under the carpet.
Toyota Prius is so scary one I have hear!!! Yikes!!! He is right thing call 911.... I hope that he learn own lesson, I agree with him says "I will never drive again"
@Nancy, i agree with you!
Hi Anderson, nice to see you on the blog!
Hi Anderson Cooper.Great to have you with us tonight
That man only got 6 months for an attempt to extort money? Thats a slap on the wrist!
Yeah!!!! TOOBIN in the house!
Massa can't keep his stories straight. He had a meltdown.
This punishment seems inadequate.
Hi Cessy-Chicago...better late than never 🙂
David Letterman is a PERFECT example of how To handle a sex scandel case in the media. (Tiger Woods, take notes.)
Hi Anderson 🙂 Thanks for joing us tonight
I oppose health care, and I am the deciding vote, so I quit!
I tickle grown men but I’m offended when talking to another man in the shower…
He’s my wife best friend, but we don’t know his number…
Either he's crazy or he thinks we are...lol
@ David, Indiana
Apprently the congressman was interviewed by Glen Beck and at the end of the interview stated he brought himself down.
@Sharon Hastings,
That must be an awful feeling, worrying about your grandchildrens' safety as well as your own!
It seems that Toyota don't really know what the problem is...I hope that you all are safe!
Hi Anderson ! How nice to see you on the blog tonight! Saw your and the Dr's and Gary's reporting in Haiti. You all should be given an award for that!
Hello Anderson!!!
Nice see you again!!!! Welcome back!
Nice job Kirk and Vanessa!!!!! I do love beat 360!!! Awesome!
Hello! everyone... i'm a bit late...
Hi! Anderson- you look extra "dashing" tonight. did you get a haircut? or is it the lighting?
Remember all the fake claims of fingers, rats, wires and roaches in soft drink bottles, pizza's or sealed food containers that turned out to be bogus? This man sounds like he's a con artist looking for some free money.
If Jihad Jane is supsected of terrorism, does she have normal "miranda /criminal Suspect rights"? Who makes that decisions on what criteria? Yes I am ridiculing the idea that the US should have two justice systems.
The name Lindsay was chosen for the commercial by the advertising agency who developed the ad. It is the name of one of the people on their team. It is a great ad. Now had they said "attention-seeking-aholic" instead of "milkaholic," Lohan perhaps would have had a case.
That had to be terrifying – if I currently owned a Toyota that baby would be at the dealer's lot I would not be driving it. That's unfortunate Toyotas used to be so reliable, strong, affordable and had such great longevity...
Hey Anderson how was Hollywood???
Does it really surprise anyone that Lindsay Lohan is trying to get more attention?
