Starting tonight at 7 p.m. ET join us here for the AC360° Academy Awards Live Blog. The winners, the losers, the debate over Best Supporting Kardashian…we’ve got your running commentary. And sure, considering all that’s going on in the world, the Oscars aren’t hugely important. But if you’re looking to get away from the bleak news-of-the-day for a few hours, then this blog is the place for you.
We should also point out that we’re not encouraging you to change the channel from CNN, but if you’re going to watch the Oscars anyway, you might as well watch them with us.
What makes me qualified to lead this live blog? Well, I once worked at a video store/tanning parlor. And I own Fletch on VHS.

For being so handsome, George Clooney looks pissed!
George was being funny. That was a glare of "DOn't make a stupid joke about me". But in a humorous way. He's funny as all get out. I thought it was funny.
Jack, thank you for telling me! I've been trying to take them down by demanding my free online movie .
I believe George was pretending to be pissed off.

So does George Clooney's date/girlfriend have to have her hands all over George as they are watching the Oscars? Well...at least one hand because the other one was adjusting her top to make sure nothing was showing....ha!

Sandra Bullock's make-up just isn't right, lipstick is too red. George C., doesn't look happy in the audience this evening. Wonder why?
I am a bit surprised by the supporting actor choice. He's good, but I am surprised.
Neil Patrick Harris is funny and a great song and dance man. My point is that he's not a movie star. When I watch the Oscars I want to see genuine, iconic, A-list movie stars. NPH is great for Emmys and Golden Globes.

These jokes on the Oscars are KILLING ME! And not in the funny, side splitting, milk through the nose laughter kinda way! Epic fail!
Sammy is a lady first and foremost......but secondly, she's a drinker
SJP, J LO & Charlze Theron looks are very unattractive in their dresses. Helen Mirren and her gray lace look does not work this time. Maria Carey appear HUGE...
Meryl Streep who looks elegant and stylish. Sandra Bullock also looks fantastic, it takes one hell of a figure to pull off a clingy dress like that.
Inglorious Bastards was great. I loved Brad Pitt's fake Italian.
I'm just watching to see (LIVE) that Avatar loses (hated that movie and its worthless dialogue. so. much.), and I heard that Robert Downey Jr is presenting, so... there's a reason to watch TV for some 3hours.
But any more of this host-banter and I'll just have to put in Iron Man. Oy vey!
