Video: Weather disrupts travel in Northeast

Jim Kavanagh

The third major snowstorm of the month threw a wrench into travel by air, rail and road in and around New York and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on Friday.

The New York City area's three major airports remain open but expect well over 1,000 flights to be canceled again Friday after that many were canceled Thursday, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey said.

Delta Air Lines has canceled 300 flights at LaGuardia and JFK International airports in New York and Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey, as well as Philadelphia International in Pennsylvania, Delta spokesman Paul Skrbec said. US Airways has canceled 80 flights, airline representative Morgan Durrant said.

Sound Off: Your comments 2/25/10

Editor's Note: After last night's AC360°, many of you sent in comments about the health care summit. Dr. Sanjay Gupta received kudos for filling in for Anderson and many of you were glad to hear his perspective as a doctor.

Should every American have insurance? Yes. But must every American have insurance? We must remember that government does not dictate. What would it be then?

WOW! Sanjay Gupta did a great job subbing for Anderson tonight. I don't know when I've seen a more interesting news hour. His perspective as a doctor is invaluable, but it's his personality, and ability to carry the show that really impressed me. I guess he does have his own show, but I haven't seen it yet because it's on early in the morning. I think he's great. I hope he gets to do the evening news regularly.

I watched some of the summit before going to work. I do want to see a public option put into place. I am not sure the Republicans care about those who have no insurance coverage access. Certainly millions can't afford the current coverage, nor even the Health Savings Accounts. We need some good brains to work this out constructively! Not the old posturing and verbal blather!
