Editor's Note: After last night's AC360°, many of you wrote in with opinions on the 88 teachers who were fired from a school in Rhode Island. Jessica Yellin received kudos for the job she did filling in for Anderson Cooper.

Good job subbing by Jessica Yellin. She's really excellent.
In response to the 88 teachers getting fired by superintendent: CNN anchor asks the teacher representative if it is all about the money. Well, I don't know...maybe CNN should fire her and ask her if it's all about the money. Teachers are on the front lines when it comes to responding to the poverty that besets American families, secondly, it's not our fault that our students come from poor families, and last, HELLO! $70,000 is not that much anymore!!
I watched the segment of the show tonight in which the journalist filling in for Anderson interviewed both the superintendent of a failing school as well as a guidance counselor. In the portion in which the guidance counselor was interviewed the journalist referenced the negotiations between the teachers' union and the school administration essentially stating that negotiations broke down as a result of the pay demands of teachers.
