    @starr, health care insurance reform will not ensure that we all have the best health care.

    Hello Anderson,

    I am the woman who was the escort for the last group of children that were taken out of Haiti by Children Of The Promise Orphanage... I am looking forward to hearing what you will say for us tonight. Please, please don't let these babies down. They need their stories to be told, their faces to be seen and the TRUTH to be heard. Tell them Anderson, what the UNICEF "safe haven" camps are really like!

    Beck said something good their until he mentioned big government, etc!

    I do think that there are 2 Rep. Parties. It seems like they are fighting with each other however.

    and just who is paying for Cheney's medical care? The Republicans are more than willing to deny the average American decent and affordable health care while they feast at the taxpayer trough.

    I agree with Nancy from Oregon. I have never agreed with Cheney, but I hope he feels well soon.

    Anderson,
    As a RN who spent 35 years in the Cardiac ICU, I would advise Mr. Cheney needs to hang up some of his anger! If it doesn't, it is going to kill him! Sanjay will tell you that stress, anger and anxiety will kill you quick!

    RELAX MR CHENEY! SIT DOWN AND KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT FOR A WHILE!

    My Grandfather has his first heart attack when he was 42 years old, and he survived to a lot of heart attacks and an open chest operation, finally he died at the age of 75, but he was able to live a "normal" life and survived despite he had the first one when he was reallly young, so now, there's a lot of chances to have a good life even if you have heart problems, so I hope and I think that Mr Cheney is going to be Ok!

  15. Nancy in Oregon

    I don't know Mike, a revolution is a big thing....and an ugly thing too in many ways...don't know that I'd be up to beheadings and tar-and-featherings every 20 years!

    @Devin,
    "Dick Cheney reminds me of the old man who lives by me who feeds the ducks...Hopeing and praying he is well"

    You sound like you have a great neighbor, Devin. I can't picture Dick Cheney feeding ducks. I just remembered actor Charles Lane in one of his best moments on screen playing an IRA agent in a Capra film. (only Cheney is not nearly as tall)

    Must Americans continue to pay for Dick Cheney's medical expenses? We can't afford it.

    @LorenR

    You are right! HE will receive only the very best health care. Not like many of us who have to go to clinics that are not always up to par.

    Good point on the need for health care ins. reform!

    Good evening Anderson, good to see you back.. Good evening Isabel, Emily, Starr, Megan, everyone. I hope former VP Cheney is doing much better and feeling better soon.

    Whenever this kind of thing happens, I realize that I don't want something bad to happen to people I disagree with. I might not like everything about Cheney's worldview, but I sure don't wish him ill. I hope he will be okay after this scare.

    Broken Government reminds me that Thomas Jefferson said there should be a revolution every 20 years to keep government responsive to the people.

    @Emily...Not sure about why so young...my grandmother had a heart attack at 28...she is in her upper 80's now... so not really sure how or why it happens at such a young age.

    Anderson,
    Hi–welcome back!
    I hope Dick Cheney recovers soon–it must be a real burden to have recurring heart problems.

    Mr cheney has devoted much of his time and energy in his post-VP days, actively castigating and criticizing the current administration. But, of course, he will get the best of medical care and should make a speedy recovery.

    Cheney has had heart troubles since he was rather young. (only 38yrs?)

    How does someone develop heart problems at such a young age?
    4 heart attacks is a lot, and he's still rather young.

    Good evening everyone. "Broken government" is certainly an accurate description of what we are dealing with. For all of our sakes I hope that the parties can come to a realistic compromise and get needed health care reforms accomplished.
