[cnn-photo-caption image=http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2009/images/12/30/michael.jackson.jpg caption="Michael Jackson's 'Thriller' made the L'Osservatore Romano's list of the best rock albums of all time."]

AC360°

Today, the Vatican's daily newspaper, "L'Osservatore Romano" published a list of the best rock albums of all time. They are as follows:

The Beatles' "Revolver"
Pink Floyd's "The Dark Side of the Moon"
Oasis' "(What's the Story) Morning Glory?"
Michael Jackson's "Thriller"
U2's "Achtung Baby"
Fleetwood Mac's "Rumours"
Donald Fagen's "The Nightfly"
Carlos Santana's "Supernatural"
Paul Simon's "Graceland"
David Crosby's "If I Could Only Remember My Name"

This got us thinking about our favorite rock albums. Things are getting slightly contentious here in the AC360° newsroom. We also asked Anderson to come up with his list.

Can you predict what's on Anderson's list?

What's on YOUR list?

Post a comment below and we'll let you know if you're right tonight on AC360° at 10 p.m. ET.

Yes, how did you leave out "The Boss" or "Prince." AC, Purple Rain was awesome!! Also, The Isley Bros. had a brand of soul rock. Go For Your Guns was pretty hardcore guitar by Ernie Isley.

    mine would include
    The Beatles discography (understandably)
    My bloody valentine: Loveless
Radiohead: The Bends, Ok Computer and Kid A
    Joy Division: Unknown pleasures
The Cure: Kiss me, Kiss me, kiss me and Disintegration
    The Pixies: Doolittle
    Sonic Youth: Daydream Nation
Interpol Turn on the Bright Lights
    Daft Punk: Discovery

Frankly I listen to anything and making this list is nearly impossible!

    AC/DC: Back in Black
    Live: Throwing Copper
    Jack's Mannequin: Everything in Transit
    Lynyrd Skynyrd: Pronounced 'Lĕh-'nérd 'Skin-'nérd
    Heart: Dreamboat Annie
Ray LaMontagne: Gossip in the Grain
    Matt Nathanson: Some Mad Hope
    Carolina Liar: Coming to Terms
Bryan Adams: So Far So Good
    Boston: Boston

Just my favorites... most of them aren't really the favorites of others. I agree with most of the Vatican's list, but I think some great albums are missing.

As for Anderson's... well, I don't really know, but I can safely assume that it is awesome!

PS: Michael Jackson is not rock but then he and the Vatican have things in common. The are probably fans of Pete Townshend's solo work and Gary Glitter

    PPS: I can't believe I forgot Bowie

Oh, this should be goooood. My guess is that Cooper might agree to some of the above listed albums. But, I'm wondering....

Definitely, Prince. But how 'bout... Blondie, The Ramons, The Cars, Cheap Trick, B.T.O, Electric Light Orchestra???

    Spill it, Anderson ~ Lil

I'd like to believe that Anderson Cooper would have something a little more rocking than some of the above...The Who and The Clash, perhaps? Even Prince's Purple Rain.

I'm going to say that I think Anderson's fave rock album of all time is Radiohead's "OK Computer." I can see him snapping his fingers to it while trying to decide: "Which black t-shirt should I wear tonight? The crew neck or the v-neck?"
