The US Military is creating an unfortunate situation in which extremely intelligent West Point graduates with years of honored service like Roger Hill are leaving the military. Apparently, his intention was to serve the US through a lifelong military career. Do you think that members of the "Greatest Generation" (my father is a WWII vet) would have been disgraced because they attepted to get a confession by merely shooting three shots into the ground, after knowing the villagers passed around the body parts of their ambushed and murdered soldiers ???? I don't think so!!!! Shame on you, US military. You drop these young men into these areas with embarrassingly low numbers of troops and then not support them????

wow, I had no idea about any of this. As usual government is too slow to react to obvious problems.

Thank you Abby Boudreau for this report. It's dumbfounding and utterly useless. It doesn't even seem as tho the guy who made this rule knows anything about military strategy, laws or even security, how could he have even been qualified to put this 96 hour rule into affect??? I just don't understand it, what are his qualifications in military strategy/laws & security and can't it be overturned or restructured by qualified ppl who know what the **** they're doing???
