Tiger Woods' apology: Full transcript

Good morning. And thank you for joining me.
Many of you in the room are my friends. Many of you in this room know me. Many of you have cheered for me, or worked with me, or supported me, and now, every one of you has good reason to be critical of me.
I want to say to each of you, simply, and directly, I am deeply sorry for my irresponsible and selfish behavior I engaged in.
I know people want to find out how I could be so selfish and so foolish. People want to know how I could have done these things to my wife, Elin, and to my children. And while I have always tried to be a private person, there are some things I want to say.

He sounds so phony ! Who wrote the speech for him? He does not sound sincere!
I am saden by the press!!! This is nothing but CHEAP news which attracts media and only adds weight to heal their marriage.
Those cheap women (bimbos) require NO apology (boohoo) knowing what they were getting into. Get real. Leave the Woods alone.
I never heard of these bimbos with their sad stories with other men. Knock it off.
I am so disappointed at how our society is so willing to dismiss theimmoral actions of those women involved. One female guest (a doctor Lisasomething, I don't recall her last name) actually had the audacity tosuggest that Tiger apologize to the women that he cheated with and betrayedthe trust of his wife. No one is holding these women accountable forenabling Tiger Woods and seeking to destroy Elin Woods’s marriage. TigerWoods is responsible for his actions (without a doubt), but these women whoknew he was married (everyone) were willing participants in these lurid andimmoral attacks on the husband and wife relationship. If Tiger dared toapologize to these uncaring women (some of which are in the porn industry),it would be the ultimate slap in the face of his wife Elin, and thenumerous number of wife’s that have been betrayed by their husbands. Startholding these women who engage in adultery accountable and stop excusingirresponsible and immoral behavior (simply because they are women). Wecertainly would not ask a cheating wife (in a similar situation as Tiger's)to apologize to the men that she cheated on her husband with.
I am even ashamed that our news agencies are even broadcasting the story of Tiger woods. Who care what he did and what he didn't. There are million of people in America who cheats.
Our troops in are dieing in Afghanistan and in Iraq and we are talking about Tiger Woods. There are Thousands Innocent civilians dieing in a Afghanistan and in other countries But we are worried about Tiger Woods.
Guys get a Life then worrying about Woods.
This shows that This is a world of a Rich person because we talk about Tiger for hours Then worrying about a hungry little kid in Afghanistan.
Why are we spending so much time on tiger woods? He is human, he screwed up. Tiger, his wife and family will deal with this. There are real problems out there that does have to do with the american public. And one last remark to Lisa Blooms remark, the women Tiger was with knew who he was and that he was married with children, therefore, they were just as guilty for their role in the whole thing as tiger was. They had the choice and chose to sleep with a married billionaire. Go figure!
I’m just concerned that we spend too much time harping on these kinds of stories. This is peanuts compared to real issues that should be talked about today. If you want to take time from real issues be my guest, but real news should be more important then a pimps personal life.
The words were sincere but his body language didn't correlate with his words. He is either a supreme narccicist or perhaps he has a personality disorder that doesn't enable him to feel real emotions. Have seen him being interviewed on LKL and thought he came across as very cold.
Excuse the pun, but if I were Tiger's wife I'd still be pretty TEE'D OFF!!
hopefully Tiger and family will be left ALONE for them to take of His problem and it will not become the business of the idle who can find nothing better to do than poke their noses into other people's affairs.
Leave Tiger ALONE!!!!
