Part of the stimulus is the Making Homes Affordable program. My husband and I refinanced our home in hopes to lower our payments. Almost 4 months later, after paying $400 dollars for the application, we are still waiting for Bank of America to "finalize" the paperwork. For the past 3 weeks we have been told "it's been processed and you are approved" and to this day we have not received anything in writting that states we have in fact been "taken care of." How is this possible? How can it take this long to get paper work done?
