Yes, the orphans should stay in Haiti until the Haitians are assured of a good home. It is my ardent desire to go to Haiti and work with the orphans, especially the handicapped orphans. I taught ESL for 23 years, worked with orphaned and handicapped children for 27 years. I've done physical, occupational and speech therapy.
The problem is I don't know how to get to Haiti. I know that Haiti is chaotic now but I see a lot of orphans and elderly people who are alone and need teachers and therapist.
warmest regards,
John
