Tonight on 360°, faith and hope in Haiti on the one month anniversary of the quake. Plus, new starling details about the legal team for the Americans accused of kidnapping Haitian children and the day's other headlines.
Scroll down to join the live chat during the program. It's your chance to share your thoughts on tonight's headlines. Keep in mind, you have a better chance of having your comment get past our moderators if you follow our rules.
Here are some of them:
1) Keep it short (we don't have time to read a "book")
2) Don't write in ALL CAPS (there's no need to yell)
3) Use your real name (first name only is fine)
4) No links
5) Watch your language (keep it G-rated; PG at worst - and that includes $#&*)
Anderson Cooper goes beyond the headlines to tell stories from many points of view, so you can make up your own mind about the news. Tune in weeknights at 8 and 10 ET on CNN.

Yes, it is very tragic and most unfortunate. The innocent always pay the consequences : ~ (
in the haitian culture, i think the belief is that the souls of the departed stay close – i think of the singing as a way of calling home any of the lost restless souls and letting them know that life continues and hope is present
Faith and hope is very important right now! They are always important in our lives!
So thankful for "life"...
Anderson, well done, you can't railroad these 10 Americans without a crooked lawyer and you got that done. BROVOO.
I am just glad that this attempt to take the children away was caught in time because a story which start out as naive is becoming very worrisome in terms of the intent.
I am a little late tonight!!
Good evening Anderson, 360 Crew, Megan D, Emily, Dodie, Isabel, Heather and bloggers!
It's Friday! TGIF!
Is great to se to the people of Haiti celebreting life, with hope and faith, and most important praying!
A wonderful celebration of Hope!
The Haitians are such a musical people. Celebrate life is a wonderful strategy!
This is wonderful to see all these people who are all so thankful for "like" and we all take so much for granted....
"Yes, faith and hope that's a good thing!"
a day of mourning national .... very beautiful and moving!
@Dodie,
"When a country is vulnerable, the sharks swarm and feed!"
That is just so frustrating and see such things; & to Prey on Children!!!!!
Anderson's right, the Taliban got plenty of notice and leaflets tossed out of helicopters onto the Marjah villages and the Taliban and villagers mostly left. They'll return the moment the American troops leave.
What a twist concerning the Missionaries..
I hate to hear about the fighting overseas...my daughter has a couple friends who are in the Marines....please pray for them!!!
@ Anderson
Today I read a little note that said "In a race against time, Haitians are preparing shelters for the homeless"
Is this already happening? Would AC360 have how tell us more about that?
Thanks Lisa L,
Happy so early Valentine's day to you,
Bloggers!
Happy Valentine's Day so early!
Perhaps some 'good' will come of this ever widing case of child traffickers. Conspiracy to commit child prostitution should be at the top of the list of charges along with child kidnapping against all now 11 people.
Hey, "missionaries", nice company you keep. Very fitting really, and I'm sure he'll be a big help, considering his experience in trafficking "issues".
you know, maybe this guy used to pick out vulnerable women to traffic, but now (since the demand for children seems to be on the increase – which makes me want to vomit) he's changed tactics, and it's easier to get the vulnerable women to go pick out vulnerable children.
Evening everyone!
This is so disturbing (if it's the same person). Stupid if someone wanted for child trafficking offered his services in such a public case.
@ Emily
Absolutely! When a country is vulnerable, the sharks swarm and feed!
yeay! MONLEY!!!
Yup Isabel! Agreed! 🙂
Wow! ...all those people dancing, etc. That was wonderful to see.
I can't wait to hear how Monley is doing!
To much attention is side tracked from the needy people of Haiti because of idiots more attention needs to be put on shelter .
Good evening everyone. Happy Friday. The situation with these missionaries just keeps on with suspicious twists and turns. How did they ever hook up with this guy if he is who he is suspected to be??
It's just sick that there are criminals that come out at times like this when so many people are in need and prey on them!
Great reporting here by Karl!
Good Evening Everyone 🙂 Thank Goodness its Friday 🙂
Anderson looks so at home anchoring his show from Haiti...The first time I saw him reporting other news from Haiti I was like yo this man is soo dedicated. He could have bolted out of Haiti and jumped on the next Hot trail but not AC!!! (My Boo 4l ife)
Haitis is in danger from no shelter now would be a good time to send rail road cars for shelter .
Hello, everyone and Happy Friday. Wow, yet another interesting turn in the story involving the Americans being held in Haiti.
It's hard to believe it has been a month since the earthquake struck.
Anderson,
Hi! The missionary story is very strange–and a disappointing development.
Good evening Anderson, Dr. Gutpa & Karl Penhaul & 360Crew in Haiti, Devna, 360Team, Megan, Martina, Gabriela, Dodie, Starr, Mike, David & Isabel, Jo Ann, Gloria, Casey, Adelaide & Bloggers!
Happy Friday!
"Breaking News" tonight is disturbing!
This story about the missionaries is getting more bizarre with each passing day.
Such a surprise, this alleged man and his wife are wanted on charges in The Dominican Republic of child trafficking for child prostitution!
The first and second pictures are absolutely identical!
Wild, you go in for one story and than you come out with another story!
Dear Anderson,
I genuinely wish you all the happiness on Valentine’s Day and ever after. Keep smiling and take care.
To the people affected by earthquake – keep believing in yourself and rebuild greater than what you had before.
Sincerely,
Lisa L

The nose ridgelines and eyebrows look identical in all three photos. The child trafficker certainly appears to be the same man in custody there in Haiti!
WOW! There's really more to this american missionary story. How did he meet Laura Sibly?
YES! I am so happy for that!!!! Jorge Torres arrested by goverment police!!! Thanks Anderson and Karl!!! Yay! 😀
Wow!!!!! It's bombastic this discovery!
Hello AC360 team visible & not, Bloggers!
"Wild, there are a lot of people!"
good evening, Anderson! Happy Friday to you all 🙂

I agree with you... It's been one month, but here it feels much longer
