    Hi Anderson Cooper,
Thank you so very much for making a 360 degree turn to go back to Haiti, you and Dr. Sanje Gupta are our "HEROES

We would like to see some images coming out of the city of CARREFOUR, south of Port au Prince. Again, keep the lights on.

@Alexander McQueen was an interesting designer. One of his latest designs is a white silk dress with a beautiful eagle on it. My sister has it. His death is very sad.

McQueen one of my favorite designers – I just ordered a sweater and a purse which I haven't even received yet – I'll cherish those as my last pieces from him. Celebrity or not 40 is just too young to die. Some people just can't cope with such tragic lost – mothers are supposed to live forever that's the way we see it. Very sad, very sad. RIP McQueen.

Although I am saddened by McQueen's passing, I was not a fan of his work. Unfortunately, sometimes outrageousness is mistaken for talent.

Oh, Thank you for mentioning Alexander McQueen´s death. He was an amazing designer. A haunted, depressed genius.

That's so sad. He was so young.

I was shocked to hear about Alexander McQueen. Obviously fame and fortune cannot compensate for a disturbed life.

    February 11, 2010 at 10:57 pm |
  21. Lori

Too bad. I hate to hear about suicide. Such a terrible waist of talent.

  22. Alex Valiao (Aliso Viejo, Ca)

Good evening! 🙂 Great and highly emotional show. I love Anderson's segment carrying a baby... simply beautiful. I also simply admire people who can work and care for children especially those with terminal illnesses. It takes a lot of courage and a big heart to do so. I used to feel helpless when there is nothing you can do to make a difference or change something that is destined to happen except to accept things the way they are and perhaps cry. Thank you! Have a good night!

  23. Gabriela Vaughan from Nicaragua

If the rainy season in Haiti is like here in Nicaragua, this is going to be a really big problem for this poor people who lives in tents!!! here the rainy season is strong and always brings a lot of problems in a lot of cities here in my country and the rest of Latin America!

    February 11, 2010 at 10:57 pm |
  24. Emily

That's awful that Alexander McQueen committed suicide 🙁
I'd never heard of him before... It's terrible whenever someone commits suicide!

Alexander McQueen .... huge loss! It is very sad!

  27. C. Parker

Why don't the USA send mobile homes we call trailersthat they didn't use in Katrina diaster to Haiti so the people there won't have to live in tents during rainy season? Don't that make since!!!!!!!!!!!!

    February 11, 2010 at 10:56 pm |
  28. Isabel Siaba, Brasil

    @ David, Indiana

I'm sorry .... I think that Mr Clinton should rest and not get back to work soon

  29. Mike, formerly from Syracuse

Having had both a bypass and a stent, I'll take the stent. A bypass is absolutely no fun at all.

Good evening. The report from the orphanage is great. Thanks God there are still people who care for the well being of those less
fortunate. These poor children deserve all the best care in the world.
Thanks to you and your caring reports you keep making headlines to make sure that Haiti's children are not abandoned.

The language on the medications is in English...not good. It should be in English or French.

    @ Gabriela

As I said to Gayle, due to my personal experience I do not trust much in what doctors say.

  33. LisaL -Canada

i know the focus is on Port-au-Prince because there is such a large population there, but i keep wondering how the other towns and outlying areas are getting on – is there (still) a presence by relief workers, and how are rebuilding efforts going in Jacmel and other places.

    February 11, 2010 at 10:54 pm |
  34. Vivian - Montreal

Anderson melted my heart showing that orphange with those adorablee babies. But my heart breaks for the rest of the people out there who have to live in these tents, look for aid and stuggle everyday for food or medicine.

The month just flew by. I can not imagine sleeping indefinitely in a tent made from sheets.

    February 11, 2010 at 10:52 pm |
  39. Caroline, Los Angeles

Why can't relief services buy pre-fab housing units?

    February 11, 2010 at 10:52 pm |
  40. David, Indiana

@Isabel do you mean it is anticipated that he will return to work on Monday? Maybe but just the recovery from the stent placement requires him to go easy on the activities.

@Emily family disposition for heart disease is something to be aware of so that someone can take preventive steps, diet, exercise, medication, and informs how physcian treats a patient.

Good evening Candy. I am very surprised to hear Patrick Kennedy will not seek re-election. It would be unusual not to have someone from the Kennedy family in the US congress.

    @Renee,
The recovery time is quite short.

    February 11, 2010 at 10:51 pm |
  45. Emily

    @Danie T.
    – it's good that Clinton has been taking care of himself since 2004 and also paying attention to what his "body is saying" ...and going to a hospital, calling a Doctor when he's not feeling well, rather then just waiting it out.

    February 11, 2010 at 10:51 pm |
  46. Cessy-Chicago

@ Claus. Thank you. Yes, a lot has changed. On a lighter note, my sister, cousins and I always joke about NOT inheriting money from our parents, but heart disease. And we have stated over and over again, to give us our inheritance now as we will die of a heart attack, might as well enjoy the money 😛 (LOL!) My mother says...WHAT MONEY?!? gotta love her.
