Former President Bill Clinton was hospitalized in New York on Thursday after experiencing chest pain.
"Today President Bill Clinton was admitted to the Columbia Campus of New York Presbyterian Hospital after feeling discomfort in his chest," said Douglas Band, counselor to the former president, in a written statement.
"Following a visit to his cardiologist, he underwent a procedure to place two stents in one of his coronary arteries. President Clinton is in good spirits, and will continue to focus on the work of his Foundation and Haiti's relief and long-term recovery efforts. In 2004, President Clinton underwent a successful quadruple bypass operation to free four blocked arteries."
The White House was told of the situation, a source close to the former president told CNN.

The stress of the earthquake in Haiti has taken a toll on everyone trying to help and be helped. A break would be great, but this was much more then a break. Best wishes for a full recovery.

Good thing Bubba is a millionaire and has the best health insurance that money can buy! Layperson's seldom have 50,000 dollars laying around for emergency heart stints surgery. Very few people realize that 10 years is the average expected extension that a person receives with quadruple bypass-surgery. In other words, if the person that receives quadruple bypass surgery lives longer than 10 years or doesn't need additional surgery on that issue they are beating the odds.

Bubba Clinton received quadruple bypass heart surgery in 2004.

Here's hoping former President Bill Clinton gets to feeling good and his heart behaving very very soon. The work he continues to do for our country and his foundation is important and there is no one that can adequately substitute for him. We need more people who are as generous of spirit and of themselves as Bill Clinton is in this world – I hope we don't lose one of the few we have anytime soon.

Anderson mentioned a couple of restaurants in New Orleans earlier this week. One was Stella and the other was something like Dominici(can't find anything close on Google).
Can you get correct name for me?
    Thanks,
    Danny
