Live Blog from the Anchor Desk 02/08/10

Tonight on 360°, a man is found alive in the rubble of a Port-au-Prince market four weeks after the earthquake. Anderson and Dr. Sanjay Gupta are in Haiti with the details. Plus, more snow in the forecast for the Washington area. A lot more snow.

Here are some of them:

1) Keep it short (we don't have time to read a "book")
2) Don't write in ALL CAPS (there's no need to yell)
3) Use your real name (first name only is fine)
4) No links
5) Watch your language (keep it G-rated; PG at worst - and that includes $#&*)

@Gabriela Vaughan from Nicaragua- Yes, the mass graves are still there and always will be.

@patty- Not all donated money is spent immediately upon being received. Haiti will need the support for years.

As a teacher, I always know when a student uses a "crib note" and cheats it is because the student is either incapable of learning a concept, or cannot apply knowledge, or there is little motivation to learn, or the person is seeking a way to achieve without the work. In Palin's case it is all the above.

@Emily, thanks, I guess Laura Silsby returned the children to their Parents?

I have to admit to being sad to see the Colts get so soundly walloped, but New Orleans played a great game. Looks like a great victory celebration. Way to go for the Saints.

Good night Isabel good night everyone.

Thank you for going back to Haiti. I wonder if people realize....there are 1 million estimated homeless. Are there even a million tents available? While I'm sure things could go smoother, I think the sheer scale of the need is under estimated by those watching.

Certainly Dr. Murray is not the first physician to say yes to a celebrity but it appears he will have to answer for all of them.

the mix of having clips of 'happenings in haiti' (mostly news daytime shots) with the live evening shots and reporter-coverage chat is really interesting, and the back-and-forth to 'back-home' news is quite a nice format, imho.

I don't think Sarah Palin will run for President. As the guest says, why would she say she wouldn't consider it since she has supporters who want her to run. 2012 is a ways off.

I feel a terror rise in my body at the very thought of palin running for, or God forbid, actually becoming Commander In Chief of our country. What ratings-hungry ho's the media are for not telling the truth about her complete lack of any qualification for the position. It's insane.

Reagan ruined your retirement? I'm not surprised. Reagan ruined a lot of things. I was living in CA when he was governor, and we learned early about that fool. Here is my favorite quote about him:

"The epitaph of the Reagan presidency will be: 'When Ronald Reagan became President, the United States was the largest creditor nation. When he left the presidency, we were the world's largest debtor nation.'"
