Live Blog from the Anchor Desk 02/05/10

Tonight on 360°, once again we have breaking developments on the 10 Americans accused of kidnapping 33 children in Haiti. We've been on this story for several days and we keep uncovering new information. Plus, one senator blocking 70 presidential appointments because his pork projects haven't been approved. We've got the raw politics. And, who dat? - the two words with ties this Sunday's Super Bowl.

Scroll down to join the live chat during the program. It's your chance to share your thoughts on tonight's headlines. Keep in mind, you have a better chance of having your comment get past our moderators if you follow our rules.

Here are some of them:

1) Keep it short (we don't have time to read a "book")
2) Don't write in ALL CAPS (there's no need to yell)
3) Use your real name (first name only is fine)
4) No links
5) Watch your language (keep it G-rated; PG at worst - and that includes $#&*)

These Tea Partiers seem to be "Tea Baggin'" America instead of offering a better plan for our nation than our president has.

@Dodie-I beleive that WA DC has heard the message from the people. At least, Pres. Obama appears to have heard Why people voted for him (although i must admit he had his hands Full when he entered office).

Good heavens--yes, what is the deal? Don't look at naked pictures at work. Geez-a lesson every 16-year-old learns...

I have known the phrase "'who dat "' since a child. I'm not sure how it's used in New Orleans or football but the way we used it was in terms of 'who is that"? or as a defence, for example someone says something in the sense of you are not strong and you would respond "who dat" as a defence... in the sense of not me... I am strong...

This is in regard to the "Who dat" being used by the Saints. I haven't heard any comment on the fact that this sounds so much like what the Cincinnati Bengals have used for a number of years – – "Who dey, who dey, who dey think gone beat them Bengals"

I think the tea party is misnamed they should be the Tory party because if they were around at the time of the revolution they would have been so afraid of significant change that they would have sided with the British

Thanks for the response; I'm just wondering how they generally feel about those other issues of freedom (largely centered around church and state issues).

Seems the fundamental distortion of the constitution is the interpretation of the first ammendment that money is equivalent to speech. leading to government by the weathly for the wealthy.

    Anderson,
Saints, Saints, and more Saints no matter to what station one turns. Is there another team in the game?

In Indiana and surrounding areas, people tend to be humble so I first have to say I am going out on a limb here by saying anything at all.

So may I just say I hope to be back at you on Monday :-).

@Dan, Sioux Falls SD, I see the Tea Party movement as fiscal conservatives who don't want to deal with, or are simply afraid of, social issues.
