I once heard that sometimes awful and horrible events have no meaning- that you have to give it meaning. It is how I try to approach life, and it seems to be strangely comforting at times when I am asking, "Why?"

    Anderson,
    Great interview with Joel Osteen.

Wondering why we loose people, yet we survive? It's a hard thing to deal with, but we must think that we survive for a reason– to make a positive influence on other people's lives. If we feel bad for surviving or being more well off in the world then we must be active in making the world a better place. You have survived the deaths of two people very close to you, but look at what a major impact you have had on people all over the world! You are an incredible journalist, a great humanitarian and a compassionate person– that's nothing to feel guilty about.

Thanks 360 crew for still continuing some live coverage in Haiti!

I've been carried by lots of people here in LA. Usually I'm drunk and being stuffed into a taxi after a night of partying though.

Life is that cut & dried as we'd like it to be. God sometimes allows us to go through things to draw us nearer to him. To teach us and other in our lives to get to know him and worship him. Day by day. It doesn't mean that we are always going to understand or feel good about it or even know what and why the things that happening. But like Joel said, attitude.

It was great to hear Joel Olsteen's thoughts on the terrible situation in Haiti. Been in a little funk lately with all the sadness going around I guess. His positive attitude was good to hear – thanks so much!

"If you make somebody's day, God will make your own day." Pastor Osteen.

Mèsi bocou. Thank you very much.

I can answer that question that Joel Osteen would not answer. God puts the emphsis on eternity,,we put the emphsis this life. In god's economy, we are all plunging towards eternity, and what we do with Jesus Christ is what matters.
