Tonight on 360°, the federal indictment against the suspected Christmas bomber. Plus, TSA troubles.
We're keeping them honest. Are they up for the job of keeping you safe in flight? And, a high seas battle between anti-whaling activists and a whaling ship.

Scroll down to join the live chat during the program. It's your chance to share your thoughts on tonight's headlines. Keep in mind, you have a better chance of having your comment get past our moderators if you follow our rules.

Here are some of them:

1) Keep it short (we don't have time to read a "book")
2) Don't write in ALL CAPS (there's no need to yell)
3) Use your real name (first name only is fine)
4) No links
5) Watch your language (keep it G-rated; PG at worst - and that includes $#&*)

    what can be done in Yemen? we kill, educate, threaten, rebuild, support ... to what end? I am not saying we stop trying, but everything we've tried so far isn't stopping the hate,

    @Emily, I'm sure there will be a fair few. As sad as I am to see Senator Dorgan go, I am excited to see an actual Senate race in North Dakota! 🙂

    It is unfortunate that we have to learn of our security shortcomings by such glaring mistakes. Clearly we need to do more to improve upon our existing security and this will be a process that there will never be an end to.

    @Emily, You might be right, but I think, like in the Ft. Hood case, PC prevented them from connecting the dots.

    What is the common denominator of all areas where terrorism incubates? POVERTY. It should give us a clue as to how to attack the root causes of terrorism.

    Anyone can read both versions of the health bill. Many newspapers and online outlets have done comparisons of the bill and pointed out what needs to be reconciled. I know I watched a boatload of coverage on CSPAN of the committee mark ups and floor debate. There is NO secrecy here.Providing the GOP talking points an Echo chamber is disappointing. When will GOP be "held accountable" for not even participating in the process or trying to help the 45, 000 a year that die due to lack of HC? When will we get an accountability story on that?

    Bernie Sanders "deal" for supporting the Senate health bill was for community health centers ($10 billion) for the whole country, not just for my little state of VT.

    It is ironic that the underwear bomber and all other jihadist choose extremist views when the Torah/Bible/Koran all say that Temperance is a virtue.

    My ex-husband was Yemanite...Jewish though. I hope that they don't get backlash for this as well.

    We have to get to the children before they are brainwashed into thinking that these extreme views are God's/Allah's views.

    Very sad.

    Maybe they don't televise the healthcare because well, people don't really read the fine print, only the rich guys are going tobe taxed, good for average joes such as myself

    How can the public be behind the "health care plan" when no one can explain even vaguely what it will mean, or estimate what it will cost? I own a small business who provides great health care to our employees at a low cost to them, and I follow the news, but I still can't even remotely explain to our employees what is going to happen, and how much more we'll pay in premiums and/or taxes.

    I support a Fly-List. I fly in and out of New York twice a month and it is tiring when you get caught in the cross fire between the terrorist threat and the Security forces fighting a battle in the airports on an invisible target. Our time is the collateral damage that an honour system that is double checked can be a way to take some of the pressure off travel. SAcanners don't work. Think ourside the box on this one.

    @Lori & others

    I do not believe that the healthcare bill will not be exposed to the public Before Pres. Obama signs it into law.

    I think it may be against the law (and if it isn't it should be), to sign a bill into law without public notification.

    Remember, they are getting together to "negotiate" 2 bills that have already passed. NO Republicans voted for the Senate bill.

    @Luis Monge,

    "It is pitiful that no politician can actually do what they say and say what they do and be transparent with people."

    They don't do what they promise because the American people are not willing to hold them responsible for lying.

    Regarding TSA, there are so many inconsistencies and lack of uniformity of training across the country that creates loop holes and when those are found, sometimes are very hard to fix. I travel a lot for my work as a Cabin Crew, I have experienced different procedures, directions and most of all TSA personnel attitudes at the same airport but different terminals/concourses. Just spend a day at JFK International Airport and go from T1 to T8 and you can actually see and experience these discrepancies. One of the major concerns I have is that the TSA Screeners training sometimes happens right at the view of the actual passengers in a obvious way, instead of having the trainees at a not to obvious place to practice their skills and their procedures. Secondly, TSA should raise the bar on the requirements needed to be a TSA Screener. I know that nothing is perfect, but we cannot play with security.

    with another 8% tax for health care added to my expences at the business I run. we will be out of business, we are in the lumber business, and this extra tax will be our death blow..we do need health care reform, but small business can not afford to pay anymore taxes, do government employees realize with out small business, they don't have jobs because no one will be paying taxes, we will all be collecting umemployment

    The problem is that the American people are educated consumers, and we want to read the fine print on the bills – but congress is patronizing and condescending, and abusive.

    LOL, too many donuts! The pursing police couldn't even begin to catch up, they looked out of breath after 50 yards. Unfortunately a single charge of 'escape' is likely 2x the sentence that young man would have likely received.

    When did it become the military's responsibility to try criminal acts on an airplane? If he's being triedby the military, then why hasn't the oes that have been taken off planes for disruptive behavior tried by the miliary as well?

    This administration is trying to get health care passed.

    That means working through it even if people aren't around....no interruptions so it gets pushed through.

    We need health care for all and an alternative to the insurance companies/drug companies for that to truly occur.
