    I noticed on your news item about subjects coming from certain countries that will be scrutinized as that country has been identified as supporting or suspected of supporting terrorism, On that list was Cuba, and was wondering if any evidence might exist that our closest neighbor is supporting terrorism. I have never seen any report that Cuba is funding or supporting terrorism. The closest I have seen is with Venezuela and they are not even on the list, so this relationship cannot be regarded as being associated with terrorism. Wondering what terrorist threat Cuba is posing to the United States?

    four more soldiers were killed by an i.u.d., u.s., and a british soldier. they were under canadian command. these past couple of weeks have been very sad indeed with the amount of lose of life. of course even one death is one too many. but hell, it hurts just that much deeper when they die in groups,and with innocent journalists to boot. god, i hate war. condolances to all.

    OMG to burn down your house and go out in a gun fight...I thought that ended with the wild west days? Everyone is hurting from this economy.

    I think the TSA and countries adding more security to those extra countries is good. We have to watch the surrounding countries to those on the list now.

    IT seems she had a reaction to the epidural...that is when she went out....I am sure they stopped it or reduced the flow and that is when she came back.

    Crazy things going on.

    Court house shooting: Why does the US allow everyone to own guns?
    Seems to put the baseline for US crime at a very violent level compared to most first world countries.

    I just watch your segment on the mother who regained consciousness after cardiac arrest in labor and had an emergency C-section. This is exactly what is suppose to happen if there is not response to CPR in a pregnant patient. If it was done on a more consistently more mother facing similar circumstances would live.

    This is such a miracle story. Amazing for the mom and baby. He is so cute. I do wonder what happened. Some kind of bad response to the epidural? Scary.

    re dick Cheney comments: I would prefer slow low key decision making to reactive bullying, invading Iraq, Playground rhetoric like "you are either for us or Against us" ..... These leave US with the minimum possible support around the world as countries which would lean towards the US are repulsed.

    @Starr Happy New Year! I am just learning about Yemen, but I've had the impression for some time that they are working to cooperate w the US.

    @Emily, yes heartwrenching.

    @Sharon Hastings, we're freezing our butts off up here. Good pt about the shake up of airport security, I would only add that there should more frequent back and forth communication btwn govt agencies.

    @Jo Ann,

    There was clearly a failure to communicate when it comes to Abdulmutallabs case!
    It will be interesting to find out Why none of the different agencies were talking to one another re. the case here.

    almost afraid to turn on the news. Precautions must be taken, to allow that young man on aplane, witout luggage, one way cash ticket, want to sit in seat over the gas tank. My grandson cannot get check .in from the curb at the airport, he was born september 11, 2005. If you were born on 911, you are marked for life.Caution, caution
