There can be only one explanation for Cheney running off at the mouth like he does.... he is going to run for President in 2012, and he is busy casting as many doubts as he can about anything that he can......toward President Obama....he is scurilous.

Like Dick Chaney did anything about anything he and Bush but us in the position we are in today,
The odd think about Dick is he never spoke when he was in office, I would like for him to shot his month already, and why he is in the news?

Why is "former" VP Cheney now being seen more in the news then the 8 yrs. he served in office. And, isn't his constant criticism of President Obama taking the heat off of that administration's ties with Halliburton and the money that VP made off of the invasion of Iraq???

@Linda Conte that definitely makes you think – especially since it was items innocently forgotten. What about the people that have evil intentions?

Right now, Transport Canada does not allow any passengers on flights from Canada to the US to have ANY carry on bags. I just double checked the website and it is still in effect. I had heard rumors that this included purses, etc.. only a small wallet for ID.

Why don't we just ban travel to the US from citizens of the high threat countries unless the person has a background check done ahead of time? No one has a 'right' to come here.

Just wondering why it still surprises some people in the United States when our security is breached. I believe the solution is simple however people in particular positions refuse to make a command decesion for fear of what it may mean for their future political careers.

the most recent terror attempts against the unites states have a United kingdom conncetion, confirming that country as hot bed of radical islam. suspects have been known to have been either studies or radicalised and the uk and then proceed to the middle east,( afghanistan , pakistan, yemen etc for training ) What is baffling is that this doesn't bother the american authorities...

can someone expalin this to me, i don't see the uk on the list of countries of terror concerns.

"These terrorists will always find the weak spot in our security and from what I can see there are plenty of them."

A Jordain CIA agent was the bomber that killed at least 7 other CIA agents and wounded several former Blackwater employees. Can we talk about that?

I really wish that Dick Cheney would just sit down and shut up. His sniping really doesn't help anything and only muddies the issues in order to make himself look more relevant. He's not.

Anderson, Thank You so much for this report re: Cheney vs Obama.

It has been very frustrating to hear Mr. Cheney shoot his mouth off when he and Pres. Bush had their 8 yrs. to deal with terrorism and the wars that they started.
Clearly, as the reported clarified, Pres. Obama is quite aware we are at war.

I don't know, but the easy access to weapons is scary. This weekend I saw a report showing how weapons are from Bolivia to Brazil, and the whole process takes 2 hours. We are all so vulnerable!

So why won't the President call this a 'war on terror'? Either it is or it isn't. There is no room for PC-talk in a war.

Pakistan, Afghanistan and Yemen all appear to have corrupt governments which their own people do not actively support. How did America get into bed with propping up these corrupt governments?

Dick Chenney and the Terrorist Bunch: So much conversation regarding terror. There seems to be an abundance of sidebar information. However none of it has amounted to legitmate progress, lead to captures or end our proclaimed War on Terrorism.

Speaking for myself, I watch the news. Go to bed frightend then awake confussed. Is anyone with me?

@Isabel I agree, every care is due

Anderson that is an incredibly thorough look at AbdulMutallab's travels in the years leading up to the underpants incident. It is worrying to see someone bouncing around like that. I imagine his parents were concerned about him for some time.

Iranians hates America for the CIA propping up a corrupt dictator, the Shah and for the CIA torturing the hell out of the Iranian citizens that protested against America forcing a corrupt leader onto their nation.

You see in the video (hearing the gunfire) that people are still walking around and cars driving down the street, makes it look like people are getting used to almost an everyday event around the nation.
