I am really worried about the safety of the mountain gorillas because of the eruption of Mount Nyamulagira in Gorilla Park!

This is a beautiful story. And hearing that baby cry would cut right through to your soul. So much sensitivity and decisiveness to handle such a delicate and harrowing delivery.

Good night Isabel, good night everyone.

I worked as a Labor & Delivery Nurse for 11 years and took care of women with epidurals. I wonder if she got a "high spinal" instead of an epidural, i.e. the epidural catheter pierced through the epidural sack and bathed the spinal column with anesthesia medication. Given enough medication, the anesthesia could paralyze the respiratory muscles, leading to respiratory arrest followed by cardiac arrest. I believe she recovered because she had life support and the "spinal" was reversed or wore off. Truly a miraculous recovery.
