Video: Inside a drug tunnel

Editor's Note: Authorities have uncovered an underground tunnel between Tijuana, Mexico and San Diego, California. In 2006, Anderson reported on the drug tunnels under the U.S. border with Mexico. Watch his report here. We'll broadcast live from this new tunnel on Thursday at 10 p.m. ET.

    Very interesting.

Just because something is illegal does not mean it's wrong. Of course this wouldn't be a problem if the war on drugs were discontinued. Basic supply and demand at work!

Please... If the U.S. did not have such a veracious appetite for drugs there would be no tunnels..

    Awesome story!

I'm amazed and frightened that the human mind to use the intelligence in things so wrong. Building a tunnel for these illegal things. The power of drug cartels is absurd! I fear for our generation and future too!

    Thanks Anderson!

As a San Diego resident I have not been south of the border since the mid 90's and anyone who has spent any time there knows of the corruption within the local police. A pay off allows tunnels to be made, be it for drug or undocumented democrats, it is all about the payoff. From our side, it is all about the constitutional violations in deporting people who came here illegally.

Maybe next we will see a drug smuggling king pin, who also dabbles in human traffic, attend a white house dinner.
