Sound Off: Your comments 10/23/09

Editor's Note: Friday night’s AC360° feedback was varied and covered several topics. Viewers continued to comment on the Heene family and the balloon incident - many had a lot to say about the humorous treatment the story received during Anderson’s segment with Toobin and Bloom. Some of you also voiced opinions on the sweat lodge deaths, faulting James Arthur Ray for his involvement. Here’s a sampling of your comments, and we’d love to hear what you have to say:

We have given the balloon family enough of our time, but I sincerely hope you don't stop showing the “Who the hell is Wolf?” clip. I love that clip. It has made me laugh so many times.

Anderson; Great week. Where would you be without the Heenes? I confess that I found the story amusing, but watching your reaction made it extra special. The song, "Science Detective," was, indeed, a nice touch, and I didn't hear it anywhere else but on your show.

I'm still laughing over the Balloon Boy segment with Toobin and Bloom... Cooper is the most down to earth broadcaster today.

I just saw your video on Ray again, and it clearly showed this sweat lodge covered with blue plastic tarps. That should never, never be done. The heat releases toxic gases from the plastic. No Indian would build a sweat lodge that way. It should be built of all natural materials, and covered with blankets, but not tarps.

As for Ray, he's a charlatan and a dangerous fake guru. Nobody should use a sweat lodge ceremony that way. He doesn't honor the traditions of the Native American ceremonies he steals.
