Mr. President, take all the time you need on Afghanistan

Mr. President, please take my advice: never listen to the nutty advice of former Vice President Dick Cheney.

Trust me, he gave enough dumb advice to President George W. Bush during the last eight years that it's best that he just keep quiet on anything dealing with Iraq and Afghanistan.

Instead of recognizing that his constant pushing for war in Iraq, which had nothing to do with the tragic events on 9/11, has put American in a tenuous position with the rest of the world, including our allies, Dick "I Took Five Deferments So I Wouldn't Have to Serve in Vietnam" Cheney wants to send more of our men and women into Afghanistan with absolutely no clue as to what the game plan is.

Cheney and Co. couldn't decide to even focus on Afganistan/Pakistan for 7 years, let alone send in more troops there. If General McChrystal’s request on September 21 (33 days ago) for more troops had not been leaked to the Washington Post, the clock would not even be ticking on this issue in the public forum. Why are we suddenly so impatient now?

Roland is right Mr. President. Look to the people close to you for advice, eg: Pastor Jeremiah Wright.

Well, Bush never listened to Cheney so why does he think Obama will? He just doesn't get it.......No one wants to hear what he thinks!

Wasn't it Obama who said the "real" war was in Afghanistan and that he was going to reenforce to WIN WIN WIN? Sounds to me like another one of his many unfulfilled promises to get into office. What a disappointment, no wonder his approval numbers are dramatically dropping, he is as credible as a 3 $ bill.

That's why sinful people are bold because "craft" is prospering under Obama the face of Satan. Righteousness exalts a nation but sin is a disgrace to any people!

Yeah, Obama should take all the time he needs! Right! Meanwhile every day he sits on his hands afraid to do anything because he doesn't want his ratings to go down the situation worsens there and more and more of our troops are dying. But yeah..waitin is a great thing Roland! PPFT!!
