Live Blog from the Anchor Desk 10/21/09

Thanks for staying up late with us. The White House has had enough. It will soon order some of the nation's bailed-out companies to cut pay for top executives. We've got the raw politics. Plus, exclusive details on what went on during that deadly sweat lodge in Arizona. You'll hear from a woman at the ceremony.

Here are some of them:

1) Keep it short (we don't have time to read a "book")
2) Don't write in ALL CAPS (there's no need to yell)
3) Use your real name (first name only is fine)
4) No links
5) Watch your language (keep it G-rated; PG at worst - and that includes $#&*)

George W. Bush ran three companies into the ground before he became President. Why would anyone want business advice from him?

The interview with the sheriff and lawyer shows that he is simply enforcing the law, while she can not give a straight answer as to why someone should be allowed to break the law, other than feeling sorry for them. Obviously anyone with a heart would feel for the woman in the story but laws and rules cannot be made based on emotions. There are proper channels to follow and as soon as you start making exceptions you open the floodgates to people taking advantage. Also she (the lawyer) obviously has no class, with the demonstration she attended. Again she couldn't give a proper explanation, because there is no excuse. As Anderson said if someone had done that with a pinata of President Obama it would not be acceptable, why does she think her actions are any different?
