The Boston Police Department is asking the public’s help in locating a man who disappeared under mysterious circumstances following a Boston Bruins’ hockey game.

William Hurley, 24, has not been seen or heard from since Thursday night. His fiancé, Claire Mahoney, told CNN that Hurley vanished about a minute after telling her his cell phone battery was running out of power.

“I was just trying to get to him to bring him home before his cell phone died,” Mahoney said. “Then he asked someone passing by on the street what the address is, the person told him it was ’99 Nashua Street.’ I said ‘I’ll be right there,’ and within a minute or two I was right at that location, but he was nowhere to be found.”

Mahoney said the last time she spoke to him was at 8:46 p.m.

Hurley, who is employed as a greens keeper at the Weston Country Club, did not report for work the following day, authorities said.

“There is no indication of foul play at this time,” said Boston police spokesman Joe Zanoli to CNN. “However, that doesn’t necessarily mean it hasn’t happen. We just don’t know. At this point of the investigation, it appears he just vanished. Whether that is on his own accord or not has yet to be determined.”

Mahoney, who first met Hurley when he was in the Navy, said it is extremely unlike him to not contact her or his mother.

“He’s a happy person, just an easy going guy and he wouldn’t do anything like this,” she said. “I love him with all my heart… and I just want him to be okay.”

William Hurley is 5’8 and weighs approximately 155 pounds. He has blonde hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing white Nike sneakers, blue jeans, a green t-shirt and a red North Face jacket.

If you have any information on his whereabouts, contact the Boston police at 617-343-4248 or call 1-800-494-TIPS to leave an anonymous tip.

I'm from Boston and my brother's name is also William Hurley, but I am not related to this particular William Hurley. My heart still leaped when I read the name though. I really hope they can find him unharmed as soon as possible.

William Hurley is my cousin. We call him "Billy". His family members are beside theirselves. All of his family live in North Carolina and there is not much they can do from here.
I feel like someone somewhere saw or heard something.
If anyone knows anything at all please call the proper authorities.
