The GOP blasts Pres. Obama's Nobel Peace Prize win. We've got the raw politics. Plus, gun dealers caught on tape breaking the law. See how they could be putting guns in the hands of criminals. It's a "Keeping them Honest" investigation.

3) Use your real name (first name only is fine)
4) No links

@Isabel spot on comment about reinforcing finding answers by negotiation.

H1N1 seems kind of unpredictable, I'm glad you're staying on top of it Anderson, and CNN.

I'm glad social workers are going down there to help those people find housing in Las Vegas.

That is a harrowing video of that young man, Thank God for those who rescued him.

Good night Isabel, good night everyone, a great weekend to you all.

Since nominations were closed so early in his presidency, I believe we can all agree, he won this based on what he says and what he he believes, and how he conducted his campaign. I also believe this has to be disappointing to his detractors. Might be that the Nobel committee just overlooked the last Republican war monger and his predissors who haven't figured out that the only reason other countries are trying to build nuclear weapons is that it is the only way to prevent a U.S. invasion.

It is insanity that we allow guns to be sold without background checks. The gun show loophole must be closed. But, the real crime is the failure of Congress to put the safety of the American people ahead of the warped political agenda of the NRA. We license drivers, doctors, and even dogs. Why not gun owners? If they want to own a deadly weapon, law enforcement has a right to know who they are.

Although I am concerned of backlash from President Obama's Nobel Peace Prize win, I understand the win. Our country is experiencing many stresses at present, but I as well as many others now have more hope because of our president. And I think the rest of the world has more hope too. He actually treats all people with respect, often seen as a weakness by those macho, chair potato, venom spewing right wing radio & TV commentators.
When Bush was president I was embarassed to say "I am an Amercican", now I am again proud to be an American.

@ Mike: When it rains the rats come out and the mold grows. Personally I would rather be at the Salvation Army than underground there but then again they probably want the peace and quiet.

@Danielle – Long Beach...Certain parts of "the strip" are more prone to flash floods than others, but that is a real possibility. I've watched flash flooding in Las Vegas (oy)!

Question: With respect to the swine flu – what is the opinion/recommendation for someone who is immune suppressed patient recovering from stem cell transplant? This is never mentioned on the news, and yet I am sure there are many people recovering from chemo therapy and other cancer-related treatments.

@Antonia Even though I already had it, I am getting the vaccine as soon as it comes to Camp Pendleton. I don't even want to risk getting it again. It's awful. Much worse than the flu. Even if the shot was as terrible as the small pox shot, I would get it. It's better than this nasty swine flu virus.

Having "loop holes" for gun purchases is not something we can afford in the US considering the amount of deaths from accidental gun shots and deliberate gun shots.

I think President Obama deserves the nobel peace prize. He gave so much hope to people in US and around the world for a better world.
Hope is what makes the circle of life to move.Americans need to be more humble and proud of their president.

Congratulations to our President! I do believe that it is premature to award someone such a prestigeous award, however, it's not the President's fault that the committee chose him as the recipient. If anyone is upset, they need to direct that energy toward the committee. Also, Americans should be happy about how other countries of the world are perceiving the US in a more positive light. Finally, it seems some people are putting their own interests and political party first rather than their own country. I am happy and disappointed at the same time.
