What is 'horrorcore' music?

A 20-year-old from Northern California is suspected of brutally killing four people. Richard Samuel McCroskey is a musician who calls himself 'Pyscho Sam' on YouTube. His lyrics are offensive and included messages about abuse, rape and killing. Authorities say he is accused of carrying out the same type of crimes about which he rapped.
The type of music that McCroskey practiced is known as the "Horrorcore" genre.

I am very against this type of music! I refuse to get involved with anyone who listens to it. I dated a very very abusive guy when i was around 20 and he was deeply into this music, he hurt me physically and emotionally, I dont blame his actions on the music its self but he would sing these songs durring the abuse. To hear about this kind of crime it saddens me but does not surprise me. hearing this turns my stomach and takes me back to that time in my life 🙁
To say that "Horrorcore" rap caused a man to kill four people is ridiculous. Have you turned on the news, internet, or even cartoons for that matter recently. I believe that education and parental advising are one of the biggest factors that play into the outcome of who we become. If it's not there or lacking...well there you go!!!
Horrorcore is crap like ICP, Twiztid...music angry pre-teen kids listen to.
GREAT!! And yet again the music is going to get blamed because he is a psycho!
I can't believe that people actually can get into this type of sick music. It's obviously people that have problems mentally...at least you would think. No sane person would be into music about killing people in gruesome ways.
