"Tonight the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation along with the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation have safely recovered the infant abducted earlier this week who has been the focus of a three day law enforcement investigation.
Seven-day-old Yair Anthony Carillo was found in a home in Ardmore, AL at approximately 10:00 PM after investigators located the suspect involved in the Tuesday attack. Authorities currently have 39-year-old Tammy Renee Silas, of Ardmore, AL in custody for the attack of Maria Gurrolla and abduction of Yair Carillo, charges against Silas are pending.
Authorities were led to Silas by the lead earlier this week from the Kia Spectra that was photographed at the Wal-Mart following Gurrolla shortly before the attack. It was determined that Silas rented the Kia from the Nashville Airport early Tuesday.
Silas is currently being questioned and will be held in the Morgan County Jail in Alabama. Yair will be reunited with his family through the Tennessee Department of Children’s Services."
