Fugitive movie director Roman Polanski is behind bars in Switzerland vowing to fight extradition to the U.S.  Even his victim, who he had sex when she was 13, thinks the case should be dropped. We're digging deeper. Plus, an exclusive look at domestic terrorists. We give you an inside look at the Earth Liberation Front.  And, a high school student murdered on the streets of Chicago. The crime caught on tape. Dozens watched and did nothing to help him. Who's looking out for Chicago's kids? We're keeping them honest.

How do you get a pig to do that? Wouldn't that hurt their belly? I find that mildly disturbing, if entertaining (kind of).

What I don't understand and maybe someone can explain it, is how the E.L.F stand to protect the Earth, stop the destruction of the Earth when they cause the amount if devestaion that has been caused? Fires aren't always Earth frienddly especially when SUV's are on fire.
Maybe its because I am a Canadian but I don't get it

Mr. Polanski is a child abuser because he has admitted to charges involving drugging, sodomizing and raping a thirteen year old child. I agree with Barbara, JoAnn, Outraged, Carla, Syed, Wa, Sasha and Lisa Bloom. Time does not excuse his crime. He needs to be extradited and prosecuted.

Jo Ann – I agree. It just reminds me of the "militia" movement that grew popularity during the early and mid 90-'s. I say don't put a lable on violence!

I can't see the gov. getting involved in a third "war", which is why I think they decided to enter talks with them.

Oh Iran firing those missiles, doesn't it make everyone feel good.

I think President Obama is on the right track.

Not right to use undue influence to pressure a change of govt in Iran, that was tried once or more.

Very sad about the death of Derrion Albert. It looks like the bystanders were screaming at the culprits to stop but were afraid for their own safety. An outrage. Outreach to young people in gangs or who could be in gangs helps. Need more involvement parents/teachers/police in a city in crisis.

It would be interesting to read what Sarah Palin has to say when she's not reacting to an immediate question or situation.

    Hey Anderson
I think that Mr Polanski should be extradited to America. He commited a crime, played guilty, fled to another country....
At this point it's not about what the victim wants. Its about " we must to be equal by the Law" . He has to pay for his crime. I can't conceive another perception.
    Thank you.

What disturbs me most about the FaceBook threat against the president is that people who participate in this over-the-top hatred are doing the entire country more harm than good. Showing disresepct for the office of the President, has the potential to lessen our influence and leverage all over the world–it's like shooting ourselves in the foot.

Destroying property is Not environmental friendly!

My heart goes out to Travolta! That was a very sick act to take advantage of a family who is grieving the loss of a child!

I hope they hang that person by their "thumbs"

Emily – I most certainly have. As a PETA member, I often had to fend off urban legends regarding us supposedly being involved with the ELF/ALF people. Those types make all of the peaceful activists look bad.

Extremists like this reflect badly on legitimate environmentalists.

Polanski's crime was not simply a horrible case of sexual assault against a 13 year old girl. It is also a crime against society. Society has laws strictly prohibiting acts of violence and sexual misconduct especially with regard to minors. Most of us do not need moral guidelines and laws in order to avoid hurting children. Common sense tells us that children are in no position to protect themselves from, or consent to sexual acts with adults. Those in society that do need those guidelines, and especially those who ignore them, should realize that perpetrating these kinds of acts against children will expose them to the fullest exposure to criminal prosecution and subsequent imprisonment. Polanski still owes society a debt for his heinous actions.

On the question of why violence.. Lets take a good look at our country.. I am old and this was happenig when i was a teenager growing up in W LA. ITS NOT DUE TO ANGER.. Its about BEING BAD and BAD being glamorized in our music and videos!!. We want to be the Baddest and show everyone we are the Baddest. Violence happens differently depending on the Ethnicity of where the violence occurred. White violence is mostly pre-meditated. Black and Hispanic violence is mostly espontanoueos. U don't have to agree.
