We all know what a monster Gairrdo is ,let the due possess and the courts take care of this monster .
My concern is the girl and her children getting the help and support they need .Will they get the help they need or once this is not news worthy will they be forgotten . My prayers and hopes go out to the girl and her children to heal

It is an awful feeling just thinking about what horrible things some people can do and have done to others.

Watching daily, this horrifying story unfold; has got my stomach turned inside out.I am a victum of such terrible abuse. I lived a life of abuse from the age of 4 til 11. HOW HORRIFYING! I can feel Jaycee's sorrow and pain. I ask, God father .. to bless her and her children and to comfort them on their road to recovery. She will be scarred for life. I ask you father LORD to heal that scar. Help those who are around her to be strong in dealing with her isseus that are going to arise. Help the professionals know what to say and how to say it . Heal her brokeness. Surround her with people of your nature God father. I ask these things in your precious name JESUS AMEN

It is hopeful that as they weed through all of this bazaar mess that they will be able to find out details or evidence on other missing children and or infants that may have been born to Jaycee.
His pack ratting had and has evidence. Every nook and place of commonality needs investigation.
There are too many victims in the area.

Keep your best wishes for the good team of Law Enforcement that is involved and the Forensics people. It is a devastating site and requires tedious investigation tools.

Shame on our parole system that clearly doesn't work and shame on the officer who visited the home but never cared to investigate the caller's complaint about children living in the backyard. What were you thinking? Or were you?

I can't believe that our system allowed this.

As for garido and his wife–i have no pity for either of them. Due process? It should not exist for monsters like them.

Just one more look into the injustice this young lady had to live through. This couple should pay in this life for what they did to Jaycee. The next life is all taken care of.

Oh my gosh, I was wondering when we were going to be able to view photos of the inside of that home. Finally, here we get a couple of pix – – -is this what the Parole Officer witnessed when he visited? Here in this county of Ohio, [Stark] that would be noticed immediately by the P.O.'s. They are so thorough and strict, with "In-home" inspections done timely and the "In-Office" visits to his P.O. make it almost impossible for a person of this character to get away with such Law-breaking behavior.
I am sure that under-staffing in that area of California could be a reason why Phil Garrido "slipped thru the cracks", but to see all this unfold now, it's sickening.
Those poor girls living like animals in filth. I have followed this story since the beginning & my heart goes out to the victims and their families for all they had to go through in years of hurt.

we all know this guy had some serious mental issues, i'd want to stay outside, can you imagine what life was like inside with that scumbag.. i'm wondering ... why they had to live outside, was he afraid someone would come over, like the police unannounced?

    I hate him so much.

The state of California is drowning under our Corrections budget, we lock up more than any other state, we spend more on prisons/parole than anything else and we are still failing.

Our politicians have used "scare" tactics for funding and to pass ridicuous sentences and all it has got us is an overhaul on the system. We have Corrections who do not properly do their jobs just like in this case.

It was not funding, it was parole officers not doing their job and still getting paid. The craziest part of this is that if you go to the California Department of Corrections website they are patting themselves on the back for busting Garrido! They should have admitted something is wrong and work to fix it!

Why are we as a society fascinated with these nuts so much that we glorify and study them?

We need to have true justice in this country. We need to have when the evidence is so great 99.9% guilt , then we need a law for these Manson types and pedophiles. We need to just have a trial, and then conviction, then hang them.

Why do we waste pictures and stories, and studies of the psyche of these crazed people who can never be re-introduced with society.
So we need to do away with them. Save some money.

I'm glad I don't have to clean up that mess. I think a well paced match would be the best solution after the police get what they want from it all.
