Interactive: Track the bailout money

CNN

The government has spent at least $3 trillion to fix the economy, although that includes loans and investments that might one day be recouped. It has allocated, or set aside, at least $10.6 trillion to spend if needed. Where is all of this money going?

Take a look at this interactive that tracks the bailout money.

    Thanks,

    Veronique

CNN would love for you to post up on where it's going, then maybe people would understand why the tea baggers are so pissed off. We do know millions are going to study why pigs stink, among the millions more that is being wasted on anything but stimulating the economy. The stimulus is so filled with pork projects, would love for CNN to do an article disclosing that.

From the interactive it seems that the money is going to places that need it but so far very few people here at the bottom rungs of financial existence (taxpayers) feel any help trickling down to us. The boost to unemployment is nice – gives you a bit more over a longer time span – but it runs out and if no one is hiring then what do you do?
