Editor's Note: Anderson’s reports from Afghanistan continue to draw positive response from viewers. And last night’s discussion regarding Congressman Wilson’s outburst during the president’s speech (and Mark Williams’ discussion about it) brought many opinions from our audience. Here are several comments we received on both of these topics. Read them and tell us what you think:
I am the proud mother of a U.S. Marine who is soon to deploy to the Middle East. Thank you so much for giving the American people an idea of what our troops endure to protect us and our freedom at home. Their courage, bravery, and dedication are amazing! Your reporting keeps them in our hearts and minds and prayers. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
I've been watching Anderson every night since he's been in Afghanistan. There are quite a few of us that have family members in the weapons unit. We'd love to have Anderson interview them. Stay safe and thank you for reporting on the 1/5 Marine Unit.
Perhaps the media and the democratic senators can't or won't say it but I will. The Republicans absolutely showed with their usual arrogance, that their health care reform position is really no more than blatant prejudice against our President. … Our President has the class intelligence and compassion that they not only lack but show disdain for.
Illegal immigrants live here, work here and go to school here. Is Obama saying they won’t get free health care? They get it now. That is why it seems like a lie when Obama says this reform does not apply to them.
Why do you have Mark Williams on? I have always relied on the analysts on CNN to be thoughtful and informed. This guy (tea party organizer) is spouting nonsense. I hope you rethink your choice…
My comment pertains to the gentleman representing the "Tea Party Express," That man is ridiculous, and should not be talking on national television.
