Police are searching for a Yale University graduate student and bride-to-be who disappeared and was last seen outside a school of medicine building.

Co-worker Debbie Apuzzo told CNN affiliate WTNH-TV that Annie Le, 24, is scheduled to be married Sunday, and "her fiance hasn't heard from her."

"Annie Le's purse containing her cell phone, credit cards and money were left in her office," a Yale University Police Department news release said, adding that friends, family members and co-workers had not heard from her since Tuesday.

CNN has calls in to the Yale Office of Public Affairs, which is handling all Yale Police Department requests.

I just heard on the news that they found her bloody clothes hidden in the labs ceiling. That sounds to me like she is alive for why leave behind evidence like that if they got the body out of lab then why not get rid of all evidence. She is probably alive. And what is it that she is carrying in those photos into the lab for usually people are not allowed to eat in research labs so it couldn't be lunch or whatever meal time the event happened. And was the blood hers? I hope she is not one of those women that don't know they are pregnant until they give birth and then have a psychotic breakdown and that would explain if she ran away for how can you get a body out of a busy building like that and why hide the clothes in a place like that when you could have put it with the body... it doesn't add up to anything but she is alive. If she is, I hope she is okay and comes home safely.

Police need to look into any males who might have been seen talking to her or lurking in the background in the recent past. Fact is, petite young Asian girls attract obsessive predators akin to pedophiles. I certainly hope it doesn't prove to be the case in this situation. But, it's a fact of life that must be acknowledged.

I hope she can be found soon and that she is ok. It doesn't sound like she ran off – if she did why leave her purse, ect. behind? You don't mention a ransom being asked for so I guess none has been requested. As excited as you describe her to be about the wedding it certainly would be odd if she left right before the wedding. I hope you will keep us updated on this case!
