This is all well and good, but we must get out of Afghanistan, its another Vietnam.
Absolutely a model for success and a model for humanity as we change the image of America that goes out for self interest than America the FreedomLady that goes out based on Rose Global Peace Program to create Nation Building and People Building and creating safety and health for governments who are suffering from the same bullyism we are suffering from which is from the Big Global Bullies threatening us all with their atomic weaponry like Iran government which will loose toxic ingluence over the region as we empower the people and teach them who they are and how to build their own nations as they grow to learn the basic things and rights humanity is granted like how to be safe and then how to live free!Responsibly free! This isthe ony way we will be safe and will experience true world peace!
Small t seem to people trying to survive any way they can. Given another way or opportunity to live in security (if not exactly peace) alows one to regain their life. I think our troops in Helmand Provcine are assisting the populous in a way that alows for choices. There by giving the since that they can regain their lives again. A potient aphrodisiac security from with in.

Thats the way,do help the people in Afganistan.Open and safe schools, for girls and boys,rebild street.Train Afganistan Police to pretect their own poeple, we are able to get friend with the locol people its the best way doing to win peace
Winning this terrible war,is to support the local people,bevor the taliban have a chance to do that
Afanistan people are living now 30 years in war.

I watched it. I think the Marines are on the right track there, promoting social, economic and political development on the local and regional level. We are not going to "win" this war simply by going out and bombing and shooting the enemy. We have to win the "Other War" or we are going to lose, and the lives of our men will be wasted.
Maybe this is how the war will be won, achieving stability in small areas, bit by bit. I am encouraged by this development. So we need to keep pressing forward; it will be a shame to give up now. Thanks, Anderson, for some positive news.
