Live Blog from the Anchor Desk 09/07/09

We have breaking news out of Afghanistan where Anderson is reporting live from tonight. There are growing allegations of voter fraud in the country's presidential election last month. That led to some surprise action from the U.S. Ambassador to Afghanistan today. We'll have that for you and more.

Here are some of them:

1) Keep it short (we don't have time to read a "book")
2) Don't write in ALL CAPS (there's no need to yell)
3) Use your real name (first name only is fine)
4) No links
5) Watch your language (keep it G-rated; PG at worst - and that includes $#&*)

I couldn't help by cry over the casualties coverage. It is so sad but a terrible reality of this war. My daughter in law and I are texting and we both agreed that we would love to get a phone call from our marine right now.

I hope Afghanistan can handle a possible run off election if it comes to that.

Sanjay's report brings home the violence and trauma of this war. Isn't it possible to bring the Taliban in Afganistan into negotiations at some pt?

Certainly makes you think about the danger that people in the military are in everyday.
