I am generally in great appreciation for what you have brought to the business of bringing us the news and have never had a single complaint. I want to thank you for your mostly respectful coverage of Senator Kennedy's life and death. However, I implore you Anderson to encourage your fellow workers and fellow Americans to refer to this man as "Senator Kennedy," or even "Ted Kennedy," rather than the disrespectful toss of the his last name as I have seen in some of CNN's ticker-tape at the bottom of the screen. We're NOT texting here. There IS time. There IS space. You and your co-workers, I believe, have some responsibility for setting the pace. If any of your fathers died, I'm certain neither you nor your friends would ever refer to him so neglectfully by using his last name only. That would imply disrespect and/ or contempt at best. It's a simple thing. You lead by example. Please raise the bar a bit. Thank you. Respectfully

I'm not sure there is someone that can "replace" Ted Kennedy. Another Kennedy would be nice in that Senate seat but that is entirely up to the good people of Massachusetts. Hopefully they will find another Lion to represent them – after all, their state has had several great men represent them – Ted Kennedy and Daniel Webster.
