Health care reform should not include cuts in physician reimbursement. This will decrease the availability of care delivered to seniors. Physicians should not bear the cost of health care reform on their shoulders. Health care costs having been rising the last 5-10 years, physician reimbursement has been dropping. If the medicare cuts to cardiologists go thru, this will affect the quality of care delivered to medicare patients. Cardiologists will opt out of medicare. Go and see your primary md if you have heart problems, lets see if the american people would be satisfied with that.
