Sound Off: Your comments 7/31/09

Editor's Note: After Friday night's AC360°, many of you commented on the killing of the Billings couple. Others weighed in on Debbie Rowe, the biological mother of two of Michael Jackson's children, saying she has no right to them now while others complained that Jackson is even still in the news. What did you think? Let us know!

___________________________________________________________________________________________

The hit for hire of Byrd and Melanie Billings is hardly as sophisticated as some make it out to be. These are simply common hoods that were after the 100K safe. There was never a need to kill the couple. Shameful – what a waste of good people.

Do you really think Debbie Rowe hasn't thought about the untold millions she could receive if she gains total custody in the future? Of course, she has. That's why a child psychologist was brought in. . . so the two oldest children will eventually accept her as their mother. And in the past she DID get money for those children that is why there was NO ongoing relationship with those children. That was her CHOICE. This person has always thought about M. Jackson's millions first and foremost and not about those children.

Please correct the error of referring to Cheryln Lee (Michael Jackson's provider) as a Nurse. She is a Nurse Practitioner. NP's are similar to MD's. NP's diagnose, treat, and prescribe medications just like physicians do. Nurses are not qualified to perform these advance responsibilities.

You are coming real close to losing me and your program's importance if you continue with this Michael Jackson stuff. Every day it leads your program or is a large portion. I get it, it’s an interesting story but there are important things happening in the country right now and none of them involve Michael Jackson. Please redeem yourself and go back to being the hard hitting, entertaining, informative NEWS program I know you can be. Thanks

I can't believe more people are not upset that government workers and
congress, both of whom supposedly work for us, do not have to participate in the same health care program we will have. That
should be the number one requirement. Then we'd know it was a good deal!

I really don't care how long you stay on the Michael Jackson story or any other story that the CNN team works on for that matter. To me it's all the in way a story is reported. I think everyone there at CNN does a great job and I know that sometimes it takes while or a lot of digging to get a story out there. So don't stop now. The effort and work is much appreciated.Good job CNN Dreamteam!

    Dear Anderson,
I am sick and tired of hearing about MIchael Jackson. Could you please move on to more important stories. There hasn't been enough coverage of what is going on in Iraq and Afganistan. How is Michael Ware doing and why doesn't he have his own website?

Why so much review of Obama's "days?" Bush wasn't reviewed every 100 weeks! Tudy

Enough of Michael, enough of constant ads (every 4-5 min.), enough of republican talking heads that spew the same msg, more of in-depth analysis, "keeping them honest," and Erica.

I like to know the latest about Michael Jackson. Only I do not like when this takes most of the show
