Editor's Note: Friday night’s AC360° feedback focused primarily on President Obama’s trip to Ghana. Several viewers wrote in reminding AC360° that President Obama visited Cairo, Egypt in June as well. The ongoing Michael Jackson story had some viewers requesting less coverage. See some of what we heard, and tell us your thoughts on these hot topics:
While president Obama is visiting Ghana, it's misleading to say a trip to Africa when he is just visiting one country in the continent of Africa. If he was to visit England you wouldn't say a trip to Europe unless he visits few other countries in Europe. There is always a misconception especially by most Americans that Africa is one country rather than a continent
Good job Anderson, I’m from Ghana but I am currently an American citizen and I am glad that the First Daughters have the chance to visit such a historical place. I wanted to let you know that I am proud of your in-depth reporting, keep up the good work.
Why are you making a big deal over this African trip to Ghana, he has been to Africa as president to Cairo, Egypt? Why do you think this trip is more significant than one to Cairo?
