The killing of former NFL quarterback Steve McNair has been classified as a murder-suicide carried out by his girlfriend, Nashville police said today.
McNair, 36, and Sahel Kazemi, 20, were found fatally shot in a condominium in downtown Nashville on Saturday afternoon. McNair was shot twice in the head and twice in the chest; Kazemi was shot once in her right temple, authorities said.
Do you have questions about the murder-suicide? What was the motive and what causes someone to do this?

The message MUST start with the letters AC, and then a space, then your name and question. If you do not include AC first with a space, we will not receive your text.
Anderson Cooper goes beyond the headlines to tell stories from many points of view, so you can make up your own mind about the news. Tune in weeknights at 8 and 10 ET on CNN.

AC Is there a latent bias or logical explanation for the media calling this woman in which McNair had a martial affair with his "girlfirend?" Granted she was young, but she is an adult by legal standard. In Governor Sanford's case, the woman was characterized in the media as his "MISTRESS", and it was common knowledge he and his wife were on a trial separation. Also, in the case of Senator Ensign, any reason the media when talking about his affair, they refer to her as the MISTRESS? Even the murderer, Scott Peterson, in California, who was married to a very beautiful young woman, his sexual liasion was characterized as his MISTRESS. Can you help me understand how the media determines whether the other woman is a girlfriend or a MISTRESS? By calling her the girlfriend is akin to saying a relationship did not exist between him and his wife, almost as though her roll as his wife is some way lessen or marinalize. Please explain this one for me.
Anderson,
This whole thing sounds fishy to me. How does she have gun residue on her left hand and a wound to the right side of her temple?
AC It does not fit right. Think about this if she shot him in the head first like they said from a short distance then still in rage shot him two more times in the chest after he was dead with a 9mm then sat down beside him and at close range shot him again in the head what head would be left with a 9mm and then shot her self in the head does not make since . And the person that found them saw them in the living room and when to kitchen because he did not see any blood what about parts of McNair head being blowed off with two shots from a 9mm. I think this is a good cover up and a really good set up. No way did she do it and then sit beside him and shot him in the head and herself and just get a little trace blood on her. Sounds more like when someone else shoot him and then when she came into the room shot him again and then they shot her look at her x . Just because she bought a gun does not mean she was the one that used it. one shoot yes two more rage another does not make since only if the 4 shoot was because someone was mad because he now killer her and blamed McNair because he did.so shoot him again after he shoot her.
Boo Hoo for McNair. He got caught the best way possible. Cheaters do it to themselves.
I haven't watched CNN all week.
I'm no MJ fan.
ohh and this story is old news..
"Do you have questions about the murder-suicide?" So, AC, you have some "inside scoop" which points to something other than a murder-suicide? It was staged to look like a murder-suicide. By whom? Oh, yes... interesting.
Anderson,
Please, Please send me a AC360 t-shirt.. I am a daily reader of CNN on the internet. You guys do a wonderful and fair job of reporting the news.
Reports suggest that everything was fine between McNair and his wife and she did not know about the affair. However, his girlfriend assumed he would divorce his wife shortly. Everything seemed to go about fine until just before Kazemi bought the gun. What happened during that time? Did he confess that he lied to her about divorcing his wife? Did he confess that she is not the only one he's dating? She seemed to be happy with him, what shook her? Whatever happened, he was always and will be a great football player and leader.
Steve McNair was a "babe" all right. Any woman would fall for him,
and to her detriment, as was the case with Sahel Kazimi. As for wife
Mechele, what could she expect? Men are not hardwired to be
monogamous, especially one as attractive as Steve McNair. Marry
such a guy: Expect philandering. Resisting all the females falling
at his feet is more than such a man can resist. "I love my wife,
but ,oh, you kid!" And sure, the Steve McNairs of this world can be
as nice, generous, and reliab le in all kinds of ways outside the bedroom as anyone can hope for. Needless to say, perhaps,
sex can cause all kinds of troubles. Too bad these two young, alll right people became involved in an affair which led for them, and
for others attached to them, such unfortunate results.

AC Concerning Steve McNair murder – There was a 911 call saying there were two injured people. If the girl shot McNair then shot herself how did a third party know there were two injured people? Who made that 911 call? How were they able to come to the conclusion that two people were injured without being there to see it?
Has anyone researched the mental health aspects of Sahel Kazemi? There was a report that she had identified herself as "high" to the policeman who stopped her for DUI recently. Was she strung out? Was there any history of bipolar, depression, ptsd or other disorders? Murder/suicide is a pretty big leap of motive for a non-addicted normal person.
McNair Case: News article says she shot him with her left hand (residue found) but also says she shot herself in the right temple. Seems odd if she was lefthanded.??? Also, why the time lapse in calling the police?
Thank you for your tasteful and dignified coverage of the Michael Jackson tragedy. (unlike some in the media.) We have truly lost the best entertainer of all time. He was an exceptional entertainer ,man and beloved father.
My personal opinon is to leave the question of paternity of the children alone. .No matter what ,Michael was and will always be their father. As once said "any man can father a child but it takes a special man to be a daddy ."And Michael was "daddy".The media has no place digging into who's the "biological" father . In my opinion this "bio" dad ( if he is not michael ) has no moral right to them.
People are quick to judge the so called needle marks in the autopsy.report as signs of drug abuse. . We do not know Mr jacksons medical history and therefore have no right to make rushes to judgement.
Thank You....For doing a wonderful job covering the memorial.I cried the entire time.what a big loss to his family and fans..rip MJ
How much drugs was in his system? Where was his wife and kids?
