The memorial service is over, but there are new twists in the investigation surrounding Michael Jackson’s death. There’s also word tonight that the Jackson family tried an intervention to get Michael to stop using drugs. Overseas, President Obama is meeting with the world’s economic powers in Italy for the G8 conference where the global financial crisis is taking center stage. Weigh in on these and other stories.

Here are some of them:
1) Keep it short (we don't have time to read a "book")
2) Don't write in ALL CAPS (there's no need to yell)
3) Use your real name (first name only is fine)
4) No links
5) Watch your language (keep it G-rated; PG at worst - and that includes $#&*)
Anderson Cooper goes beyond the headlines to tell stories from many points of view, so you can make up your own mind about the news. Tune in weeknights at 8 and 10 ET on CNN.

Anything crazy to make a buck off this, I guess. Just so there are no skydiving Michael Jacksons jumping in tandem at some point...
Good night all.
An hour already oh well .. to all a good night
I am afraid that they will never let MJ rest in peace or leave his kids alone
Good night and sleep tight!
Just 50k? Lunch money
I don't know who is crazier, the people who come up with these things or the people buying them...
Goodnight, everyone. Catch you guys tomorrow.
these guys with the cheetoes and toast need help.
I see Michael in that marble slab! Knew I was a fan... but wow.

Thank you and good night Anderson, Erica & Team 360.
Good night fellow bloggers too. Thanks to Lori IL and Jasmine for your comments. You are right on about the selling children and gun availability.
MJ memorabilia – i'm shocked!Anderson, the face on the marble, you don't want to see it.
It's crazy to see how many people are willing to sell their Michael Jackson memorabilia. You would think people would want to keep pictures, albums, autographs, etc. to remember the great man he is. People are so concerned about making a quick buck. Such a shame.
Im looking forward to the Ghana show!
Folks, we got to give it to Anderson and Erica, they leave no stone unturned. Til tomorrow.......
Oo. I didn't realize Anderson would be in Africa too. AWESOME.
Wow - another fast hour of news!
Good show tonight, Anderson - Godspeed on your trip to Ghana.
Good night, Fellow Bloggers and Erica - enjoy chatting tonight.
Until tomorrow night .... peace
It is sad, for people like me, that we truly appreciate MJ for the person he was, now after his death. I hope that he lives on forever.
HI AC, AC360 and chatters,
Micheal Jackson's accomplishment as an artist being it performer, singer has proved that he will be revered in a hall of fame legendary entertainer of the 20th century. what a fallen of star in the music industry. RIP, Micheal Jackson.
A moonwalking Cheeto.......what the..........?
Great to see you Anderson and Erica! Good night to all of you wonderful bloggers! see you all tomorrow!
Be safe!
Well, good night Anderson and everyone.
Good show tonight.
Have a safe trip and good time in Africa, Anderson and the team.
Sweet dreams all.
I have the original 45 of MJ's I'll Be There I'll sell someone for a hefty sum. ok I'll throw in the swamp land.
Have a peaceful evening~
ohh that's so sad i have a dog and i could never imagine having dogs fight for entertainment
@michael: his name is not blankit that is just a nickname i believe his name is Prince Micheal II
All those out there who keep throwing negative comments against Michael Jackson are either jealous, just really angry at people or simply bored with life. Regardless of him being an entertainer, he was a great humanitarian. If you do not get the message in his songs, e.g. the Earth song, Man in the Mirror, Heal the World, and be inspired to do something good for someone else, be it a family member, a neighbor, or another country, then there is seriously something missing deep inside you!
@ Nancy
It is difficult to measure and understand the desperation of a person ... whatever their age!
Often young people get lost with so many possibilities ahead 🙂
Hi Anderson: I want to comment on Sarah Palins resignation as
gov. well over 1 year before her first term as Gov. of Alaska is completed!
First and foremost – I want to say safe and fruitful trip to Africa with
President Obama!!!
It is my greatest hope that it is not Sarah Palin's intention to be here,
there, and everywhere – in the lower 48 – in an attempt to further her
possible personal goal of influencing current Republican policies;
even to the extent of successfully running for office in 2010 or 2012!
(Doesn't seem possible, but with Sarah Palin, anything seems to be
possible!!!)
A more practical and viable course would be to accept a position as
a journalist for Fox News, accept Speaking Invitations coming her
way, and otherwise make money to cover her legal expenses and
probably become a wealthy woman. (At least, in that case, those of
us who utterly disagree with her policies can go our own way without
seeing her constantly on tv and our computers as we can change
channels and otherwise GO OUR OWN WAY!)
These kids are lucky they have strong family to help them. The loss of a parent is never filled, though, by another. Every major and minor event always has this empty spot where that parent should have physically been. It gets better, but it never goes away completely. My prayers are with them.
@ Beth – Dr Klein said he donated sperm at one point in his life, but not specifically for MJ. He also said MJs light skin color was wholly contributed to a skin disease.
The McNair situaton is so sad because he was a married man and cheating had caused him his life.
Time flies when you're having fun. Goodnight!
OOO gosh, those Italians and their women 🙂
yay! Stop dog fighting! Tailwags for that report!
What? The CIA concealed information? I'm shocked.
Sounds like we underestimated MJ. I hope and pray that people esp. the media will give these children respect and space in the days and years to come.
We (family & friends) are most grateful that MJ's children will likely stay with their extened family. it would seem the best thing for them.
CIA director testifies....talk about transparency. 😮
Erica,
Thanks for coverage of Paris and Prince for your report, Nice job!
@ Anderson
At the time of the election of Pres. Obama, Africa celebrated the victory of Pres. so excited. I’m anxious to see how will be your vision on it, finally the vision of an American journalist.
Good luck, my friend!
It kind of makes you wonder why MJ didn't name Janet Jackson to take care of his children in his will vs. his mother or Diana Ross.
As Erica said, Janet really seems to be the rock right now. I've always gotten the idea she was one of the most grounded members of the family, and her kind yet assuring way with Jackson's kids seemed to prove it.
Thanks Anderson, and Erica...for the excellent manner in which you
along with Larry King and the CNN news team covered the MJ Memorial with the respect it deserved. The Paris Jackson brief but
beautiful little eulogy was tear jerking.....it did remind us that he was simply a "Daddy" too. The music industry will not be the same in many
ways as I am sure Lisa Marie Presley can relate to...and also with Paris on the segment you are showing on air right now. I hope the
news coming in the days ahead will be less tragic and something more can be offered to other "icons" who are suffering the same condition or addiction. Doesn't the industry have support groups and
outreach arms such as the Grammys' Music Cares, etc.?
Starr, as outrageous as it sounds, there are parents, yes parents, who would sell one of their children for money to support the rest of the family. That's one main way to support the "commodity" in the human trafficking business.
the memorial yesterday was so sad. It brought my family and me to tears.
the need to change blankits name the name is kida stange for a good kid .
Nicely done Erica.
@Nancy - not sure age has anything to do with committing murder/suicide - some people are just "sick"
Paris has amazing eyes.
